Second Last raised her eyebrows slightly, unknown if it was because of the signal lights or because of what Jiang Xiao said. She said in a hoarse voice, “Find a quiet place where we can chat.”
*Screech*!
The car came to an abrupt halt and Jiang Xiao changed the gear to reverse back into the parking lot.
Jiang Xiao turned to look at Second Last and said, “We’re here.”
Second Last remained silent.
“Why did you look me up?” asked Jiang Xiao, deciding to cut straight to the chase.
Second Last stared at Jiang Xiao with a smirk and extended her hand to tap on the screen on the dashboard in the middle of the car. She pinned a location on the map and said, “Go here.”
“To the… bathhouse!?!” Jiang Xiao exclaimed, feeling rather startled when he saw the name of the location in the GPS.
“There is a barbecued meat shop opposite,” Second Last said casually.
Jiang Xiao was speechless.
Second Last said, “You don’t like it.”
Jiang Xiao denied. “Of course I like barbecued skewers. Next time, pin the exact location. You gave me a great shock.”
Second Last looked out of the window and said, “That place is very small and run down. It can’t be found on the maps at all.”
