I don’t mean to say that the ratios were balanced when creating Kekkai genkai but that it was only two chakra natures that were balanced to create the unique chakra and thus not an issue for the body to accommodate. Kekkai tota however were comprised of three chakra natures and thus was intrinsically unbalanced. In theory this could be corrected by fusing in a fourth nature but I had no understanding of if that was even possible as none in history as far as I knew had even done it.-
Whatever the case was I put it aside to enjoy my vacation with Karin. It was about the middle of the land of hotsprings that I sensed a couple chakra signatures I recognized.
“Looks like we won’t be enjoying ourselves in this towns hotsprings.” I said with a chuckle.
“What do you mean?” Karin asked confused.
“Jiraiya and Naruto are here.” I said and she had a look of understanding before subconsciously using my arm to cover her chest warily.
Having learnt under my sensei it should come as little surprise that Karin knew of Jiraiya’s lecherous habits.
“Relax, if he tries anything funny I’ll be the first to send him packing.” I said flexing my arm causing a distortion in the process.
Karin smiles happily and snuggles up against my side at that and I just chuckled but didn’t mind all that much.
“Ah to be young!” a few older woman in town said with smiles as we passed them like this.
We found Naruto and Jiraiya at a restaurant cooking slices of meat on the small grill at their table when we walked up.
“Kenzo!? Karin!? What are you two doing here!?” Naruto exclaimed in shock when he saw us.
“We happen to be on vacation at the moment and are touring through the land of hotsprings. I sensed both of you when we were approaching town and figured we should stop by to catch up.” I explained as I slid into the booth of the table next to Jiraiya while Karin went to sit next to Naruto.
I hailed a server and ordered three more portions of meat as well as a bottle of soju since I noticed Jiraiya was out.
“Belated congratulations on the engagement by the way, I’m sure the village has a bright future with you two there.” Jiraiya said with a smile.
“Argh! How did you manage to get engaged before me when you barely ever leave your house!?” Naruto complained frustrated.
“Heh, jealous are you?” I teased him with a smirk.
“You just got lucky! My girlfriend will be way better than yours believe it!” Naruto said competitively.
“Are you cursing me you little bastard!” Karin said angrily as she twisted his ear after he made that declaration.
“Ow ow ow! I’m sorry I’m sorry!” Naruto said hurriedly trying to save his ear from her wrath.
Jiraiya laughed “That’s the Uzumaki temper for you. Seems a trait all women with Uzumaki blood have in common.” he commented with a grin.
“Sure they can be a bit spicy.” I started before grabbing Karins hand and kissing the top of it which left her red faced and grinning like a loon. “But they are easy enough to tame if you know how.” I finished with a grin.
“Teach me your ways!” Jiraiya begged seriously.
I scoffed at him “Afraid you are out of luck in this case, you are simply too far gone in your lecherous ways.” I said with a chuckle.
“It’s just a love of beauty I tell you!” Jiraiya said defensively but none of us bought it.
It was at this point that the server arrived with my ordered food and I paid the bill on the spot so we could just leave after we were done eating.
“How goes your training anyway Naruto?” I asked my friend who was focusing on the cooking meat.
“Eh? Not bad I guess, that information you sent on the [Rasengan] has been a huge help. Even the pervy sage has learnt a thing or two from it.” Naruto said honestly.
“Oh really? Can you do this yet?” I asked holding up a finger that a wind chakra [Rasengan] the size of a marble formed above.
Naruto stared at the mini jutsu dumbfounded but Jiraiya looked downright nervous at it.
“That’s dangerous kid!” he hissed seriously with sweat on his face.
I chuckled and under his astonished gaze dissipated the fully formed jutsu back into pure chakra that I reabsorbed back into my body.
“I’m disappointed that you didn’t realize that you could just reabsorb the jutsu so long as you understand how it’s made. Despite the fancy effects the [Rasengan] and it’s variations are merely just your own pure chakra.” I said seriously.
“Usually when you create a jutsu you intend to use it so I doubt even the fourth Hokage who made it originally would know that.” Jiraiya said honestly.
I scoffed “That’s ridiculous! Haven’t you people ever heard of a deterrent before? What’s the point of such a thing is you are forced to use it every time you show it off? Just being able to casually summon and dissipate an S rank jutsu like this should make whoever you show it to cautious at the least and unwilling to fight at all if you are lucky.” I said seriously.
“So like showing off a jinchuriki but on a smaller scale?” Jiraiya asked and I nodded.
“Everyone knows that S rank jutsu aren’t easy to use so if you pull out this little trick you make your opponent hesitate and I doubt I need to tell you how useful that is for a shinobi.” I said and it was his turn to nod.
“You said you could just reabsorb the jutsu if you understood how it was made but it probably isn’t that simple is it?” Naruto asked and I shook my head.
“There’s a bit more to it sure but it really is pretty much that simple. So long as you can create a perfect opposite flow of chakra to the jutsu it will turn back into chakra that you can reabsorb no problem. As a bonus once your mastery of the jutsu reaches that point it becomes way more dangerous as you can near instantly create and reabsorb the jutsu which means your opponent will never be able to know when they have to dodge putting them on the back foot. A truly unpredictable weapon in your arsenal.” I said seriously and Jiraiya and Naruto both looked eager at the idea.
