After dinner, Shin placed his hand on Hanabi Hyūga’s head, ruffling her hair.
“Hanabi, I’m taking you and Hinata back to Kirigakure tomorrow. Your mother must miss you.” Shin said to Hanabi.
Hanabi, who had been enjoying Shin’s gentle touch, suddenly stood up, looking particularly agitated.
“What?! You’re taking me back to Kirigakure? Do you… hate me now?” Hanabi looked at Shin with teary eyes.
