Shin ran a hand through his messy, bird’s-nest-like hair, then tried to smooth out his clothes.
Well, no point. They were practically shredded into strips; he’d just have to change.
“Pfft—HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Kushina burst out laughing at Shin’s sorry state.

Shin shot Kushina a fierce glare.

Kushina, Mikoto, and Mei Terumī had ganged up on him earlier to “PUNISH” him, leaving him in this state.
Only Konan had been good and hadn’t joined in.
Shin felt he absolutely had to reward Konan.
When it mattered, Konan was always good to him. Even Mikoto couldn’t be relied upon.
After tidying himself up, Shin went to his room, changed clothes, and emerged looking as handsome as ever.
“Where are Karin, Hinata, and Hanabi? Why aren’t they home?” Shin asked Mikoto, puzzled.
“They went to train. Hinata is teaching Hanabi the Gentle Fist, and Karin went along to watch,” Mikoto replied.
Shin’s eyes showed a hint of surprise. That lazy bum Hanabi went to train? That’s quite astonishing.
“I’ll go check on them.”
Shin left the house and headed towards the training grounds.
Not far from their residence was a training ground Shin had constructed. They usually trained there.
However, the women hadn’t trained much recently, so the place was somewhat overgrown with weeds. I’ll have Mikoto use Fire Release to clear the weeds another day.

Shin decided to let Karin be.
Karin hugged Shin, her eyes sparkling with joy. Shin hadn’t pushed her away! Did this mean she had a chance?
Instantly, Karin drifted into a world of fantasy, a slightly lecherous expression appearing on her face.
However, Karin buried her face in Shin’s chest, so her expression remained unseen.
“Big Sis, aren’t you jealous?” Hanabi sidled up to Hinata, poked her arm, and whispered.
Hanabi was quite perceptive.
Seeing Hinata’s dejected expression, Hanabi knew her sister must be envious of Karin.
“Hanabi, what are you saying?” Hinata’s face instantly turned crimson, and she became flustered.
“Big Sis, I’m not trying to criticize you, but sometimes you have to be proactive to get what you want—”
Hanabi said, looking at Hinata with an expression of exasperated disappointment…

Hearing her sister’s scolding, Hanabi smirked inwardly. ‘Don’t think I’m little and don’t understand anything. Big Sis, you’re clearly very happy about this in your heart, aren’t you?’
