Hearing this, Anna Grace released a long sigh of relief. “Thank God you three are perfectly fine and not poisoned, I was quite worried after witnessing how dangerous the Kobold’s poison was.”
“Well, now you know that we’re not poisoned or anything, you don’t need to worry about us, Mother-in-law.” Rose smiled, feeling happy at how worried her mother-in-law was for them.
“That’s right, Mother-in-law. We’re perfectly fine and we don’t even have a single scratch on our bodies.” Julie gives a reassuring smile at Anna Grace.
A minute later, Yuan looked at all the Kobolds’ corpses turned to the Monroe sisters, and said, “Let’s collect their scales and their old rusty weapons as proof of the eradication, shall we? Moreover, we’ve to enter the city before it gets dark or the gates will be closed.”

An average Kobold has more than thousands of scales covering their bodies, however, only one scale from each Kobold is needed to prove the eradication. And the scale needed for the proof is located at the center of their chest, the scale has a unique color compared to the rest of the scales and is the only largest scale found on a Kobolds’ body.
The scale is five inches in length and three inches in width, purple in color, and is very tough.
“Damn! Because of how elastic the skin is, it’s very hard to retrieve the scale.” Julie grumbled as she tried to collect the purple scale from a random Kobold corpse, it took her some effort before successfully separated the scale from the elastic skin of the Kobold.
Seeing her elder sister grumble in annoyance, Ava sighed. “Big sis Julie, Kobolds’ are known for their high defense, so of course it would be hard to retrieve the scales from their bodies.”
While the Monroe sisters used a small dagger to remove the scales from the Kobolds’ bodies. Yuan and his other wives used nothing, they removed the scales from the Kobolds’ bodies with bare hands and even made it look quite effortless with their sheer strength as Spirit Masters.
It took them around 20 minutes to collect the scales from the Kobolds’ and as well as collect all the weapons used by the Kobolds as proof of their eradication.
After Yuan put the last scale which was the scale from the Kobold Lord in the pouch, he turned to see his wives and said, “Now that we’ve finished our business in here, let’s get out of this damn cave, I can’t endure the pungent smell of half-eaten corpses anymore.”
“Haha, I can’t agree more, the smell is so strong now that it’s making it harder to even breathe.” Julie laughed and continued. “I hope that the sun isn’t set yet and we can return to the city before it gets dark.”
“That’s the least of our worries.”
Yuan then walked toward the exit and walked out of the cave, and his wives followed suit, a minute later they appeared outside the cave.
Once they’re out of the cave, they see that the sun isn’t set yet and they still have more than enough time with them to return to the city before time.
“We’ve more than enough time with us to return to the city and submit the mission report at the association,” Yuan said looking at the sun that was still hanging in the sky.
After hearing his words, Anna Grace looked around for a moment before saying, “Since we have plenty of time to return to the city how about we take a quick dip at the lake? As far as I can see, there is no one around here.”
“Well, I agree with Mother-in-law. We got some of the Kobold blood on our body and we don’t want to return to the city while looking like this.” Rose said after exchanging a quick glance with Anna Grace and her sisters.
“Alright, then let’s take a quick bath before returning to the city.” Yuan quickly agreed to their suggestions noticing that the Monroe sisters were truly covered in Kobolds’ blood.
“Yay! Let’s go and swim!”
Xi Meili who was silent until now exclaimed in excitement and began undressing herself, and she stood before them completely naked soon later.
