With the results predictable, the excitement does fade. But now with an unfamiliar figure participating, their enthusiasm naturally heightens.
“I don’t understand why Young Khan chose you, merely minor elites.” The Chiliarch coldly said, “Victory over you brings no sense of accomplishment. I will give you a hundred and fifty yards head start. You say the word, and only then will we begin to avoid any subsequent denials of defeat.”
“Let’s get started, I only have thirty seconds.” Mu Zi tightened his grip on his Magic Wand.
“Looks like you lack confidence in yourself, do you want me to give you thirty seconds?” The Centaur Chiliarch said.
Mu Zi held up three fingers, and shaking them said, “I’m talking about taking you down within thirty seconds.”
“You’re courting death.” The Centaur Chiliarch was greatly angered. He felt he was far superior to his opponent.
The Centaur Chiliarch ignored what had just been said and charged directly at Mu Zi from a distance of over a hundred yards.
The speed of a centaur was even faster than that of a Tauren, let alone Mu Zi.
A hundred and fifty yards was nothing to a centaur.
Mu Zi stance didn’t waver, and the Magic Wand in his hand began to sparkle with dazzling light.
“Prepare to die, little twerp.” The Centaur Chiliarch’s eyes were locked on Mu Zi, his weapon already raised. In his eyes, someone as frail as Mu Zi wouldn’t be able to withstand a single blow from him.
But Mu Zi didn’t dodge. Fire elements bursting from him gradually formed a colossal Warhammer.
As his casting continued, the fire morphed into a giant, crimson Flame War Hammer.

But just then, Mu Zi suddenly made his move. He swung his Magic Wand, and the giant Flame War Hammer spun like a windmill, launching towards the Chiliarch.
The Centaur was moving so fast that dodging the spell was virtually impossible, and moreover, the Chiliarch had no intention of evading.

“Die.” Death intent flashed through the Centaur Chiliarch’s eyes.

When he was just twenty yards from Mu Zi, he and the Flame War Hammer violently collided.
The Chiliarch had severely underestimated the power of Mu Zi’s Flame War Hammer. Mu Zi’s specialty, as a practitioner of his class, was to control and alter elemental forms. But the transformation resulted not merely in a change of form.
After the transformation, the new form would have new features and functions. However, it would also produce unforeseeable changes, both good and bad, requiring extensive experimentation and judgement ability.
This class was such that a master player could create miracles while a novice player would just be holding the team back.
Mu Zi, with this class in Starfire Team, was second only to Li Yao in terms of output. It showed how well he had mastered this class. If he had no way to stop the Centaur, why would he just stand there without moving?
The Flame War Hammer violently hit the Chiliarch’s weapon, its immense force abruptly halting the Centaur’s charge. Meanwhile, a vast amount of fire erupted, setting the Centaur Chiliarch’s body ablaze.
He was now under the burn status. Everyone could see his health dropping at an alarming rate of five to six hundred per second.
But his total health was nearly two hundred thousand. Naturally, he wouldn’t care about such a small health depletion. “You do have some tricks up your sleeve, but they are of no use against me.”
The Centaur Chiliarch, once again, charged towards Mu Zi. But when he was knocked back, Mu Zi was already preparing another spell.
Dragon Breath Technique!
Contrary to others whose Dragon Breath Technique would form the head of a Flame Dragon above them and then spray Fire Breath, Mu Zi’s Dragon Breath Technique transformed into a small dragon and flew above the Centaur.
Just as he was about to charge, he was engulfed in Dragon Breath. Not just a breath, it carried the fear-inducing might of a dragon.

Mu Zi then, to the surprise of all, used Blink.
The shock was because Mu Zi didn’t Blink away from the frightened Centaur Chiliarch, but got closer. To the Centaurs, this seemed like a suicidal move.
After all, in their eyes, Mu Zi was just a starless elite. The Chiliarch, a three-star silver-rank character on the verge of becoming a boss, even if frightened, would snap out of it in no more than two seconds. If Mu Zi approached him, he stood to be instantly killed once the Chiliarch regained his senses.
The Centaur Chiliarch turned around in a daze from fear. Mu Zi went straight to a point near him. Just as the Centaur turned sideways towards him, Mu Zi fiercely smashed his magic wand onto the ground.
Resist Fire Circle!
An intense Flame Shockwave spread out rapidly.
Boom…
The shockwave fiercely collided with the Centaur, who was immediately jolted backward and hit the ground.
“Nice.” Even some Centaurs were cheering for Mu Zi.
It’s worth noting that due to vast level differences, control effects would undoubtedly diminish.
But Mu Zi had immediately used Fear, followed by another control whilst still under Fear’s effect. At this point, both the strength and resistance to abnormal states would be at their lowest.
Only at this moment could the Resist Fire Circle have more than its usual effect. If used after Fear had ended, it would at most cause the Centaur to pause momentarily.
