The desperate-to-bolt Light Flower was stunned and said, “Are you saying… this treasure is a hoax? How is that possible?”
“Then what?” Li Yao laughed, “Tell me, is this the Titan’s relics?”
“Did you not mention that this labyrinth was constructed by the Mechanical Gnomes and is not the actual Titan’s relics?” Light Flower asked.
“Exactly, the Mechanical Gnomes are essentially like genuine gnomes. For them, gold doesn’t only serve as a currency, but also is a valuable metallic material. They would not possibly mold an entire palace out of it,” Li Yao stated firmly, “Moreover, they wouldn’t employ these precious gemstones for frivolous accomplishments. Even the Titans only constructed palaces with stonework and models made of stardust sand. Above all, these gold and the likes were formed post the restructuring of this world by the Titans.”
Light Flower’s eyes shone as she said, “I understand now. If they possessed these materials, they would definitely utilize them to enhance these mechanical monsters. They wouldn’t be this weak then.”
“Clever. If they indeed possessed such amounts of gold and gemstones, they would have been capable of forming an invincible legion. They wouldn’t have allowed us to intrude, forcing them to retreat.” Li Yao affirmed.
“So, what about this gold and diamonds?” Light Flower was clearly puzzled.
“They are mere illusions.” Ephemeral Bloom declared.
Light Flower was even more puzzled and said, “But they feel exactly like real gold.”
“It’s up to you; if you don’t believe, you can collect at will. I, in no way, am stopping you.” Li Yao shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly.
“I believe in you, master. Whatever master says, I will blindly adhere to it. I have seen the tactics of Li Yao, I believe in his wisdom. Without impending danger, Li Yao would have certainly let these so-called masters in.”
In her view, Li Yao was neither a saint nor a samaritan. He wouldn’t open doors for others, only to end up working for nothing in return.
“So, what are we supposed to do?” asked Light Flower.
“Wait, and do nothing.” Having said that, Li Yao ceased to speak further.

“I’ve called War Horizon several times, but he doesn’t respond.” Light Flower said anxiously.
“If he doesn’t want to respond, then stop obstructing him from attaining riches.” Li Yao replied, unbothered.
For someone who wouldn’t listen to him, Li Yao naturally wouldn’t be concerned about their safety. He was not their nanny.
They were supposed to protect him, but now he was worried for them. What a joke.
“It’s not good, War Horizon is being attacked, he wants us to rescue him.” Light Flower murmured, slightly anxious.
“I don’t have room for a hothead who wants to go to war over some mud lumps; go if you are willing to.” Ephemeral Bloom shrugged.
Little Cold Hands also whimsically stated, “I don’t feel like risking my life for these illusions. It feels so stupid.”
Light Flower hesitated a bit before saying, “Master…”
Li Yao gestured with his hand and said, “I won’t put in efforts to save a fool. Can I rely on such a person to protect me in crucial situations? When I was explaining, he didn’t even bother to keep a distance. If, having heard our analysis, he still acts stubbornly, he deserves what he gets”
“Master is right.” Light Flower sighed.
