Nodding, Li Yao replied, “That is true under normal circumstances. But don’t forget, Colin’s wife was an Upper Elf. So I would guess that Lord Colin Fire Feather was the son-in-law of a great lord. He married the great lord’s daughter and thus became a lord himself. Such a situation is pretty rare. And at that time, only the Upper Elves with a noble background would construct buildings of the temple style with domed roofs.”
Both agreed with Li Yao’s explanation. As Claw Scar-free healed the hydra, he said, “No wonder you’re getting ahead. This analytical skill alone has won my respect.”
“Yeah, you’re so awesome, idol. You can even negotiate with NPCs to change the tasks. Although Dicelan was small compared to some other large cities, it was by no means tiny. It wasn’t until midnight that the trio finally found a ruinous building.
If they’d followed Colin Fire Feather’s clues and attempted to find the domed buildings, it would have been virtually impossible. However, Li Yao had identified the location of the temple, thus inferring the location of the Lord’s mansion. They managed to discover the dilapidated Lord’s mansion, which was no more than a few broken stone pillars and ruined walls holding the structure intact.
Pet Little Elf performed a spell as instructed by Colin on the necklace she held, and a faintly sorrowful melody filled the night sky.
