“So am I free? Would you allow me confirm what you told me?”. Dylan’s voice resounded again with his gaze focused on Ryan.
“Yes, you’re free, I’d allow you confirm it. But just so you know, they don’t bully me every single day while heading home, but they’re consistent with it,
So if I don’t come across them today, don’t consider me a liar”. Ryan stated.
“Of course, I wouldn’t do that”.
Silence ensued for a few seconds after those words were done flowing out of Dylan’s mouth, then Ryan’s voice resounded again,
“So, how do you plan on going about it? How do you plan on witnessing all that they’d do to me without them noticing you?”.
“Don’t worry about that, there’s a way”. Dylan said.
“Okay”.
And with that, the both of them just kept on walking…
They’d been walking for minutes now, they’d even passed the intersection Dylan was supposed to corner that would lead him to his home.
He was supposed to corner the intersection and head straight to his home, but we all know the reason why he didn’t corner it. They kept on walking until they finally set eyes on the four boys.
They were waiting for Ryan as usual to bully him. Ryan and Dylan sighted them from afar, so Dylan quickly made use of that chance to hide himself to an extent so the boys wouldn’t see him.
The boys seeing him would ruin a lot of things. Of course, they didn’t want him to know they were still bullying Ryan, that’s why they’d been doing it in secret.
So the moment they set eyes on him, they’d walk away. And Dylan wouldn’t be able to confirm what he wanted to confirm properly.
He wouldn’t be able to see them bullying Ryan…he only got to see them waiting for Ryan.
He hid, but was still able to see everything properly. Ryan was still walking toward the four boys, and by now, they’d set eyes on him.
Smirks appeared on their faces the moment they set eyes on him. One of their preys was walking toward them, they’d get to bully him today again. Why wouldn’t they be smirking?
Ryan kept on walking toward them until he finally reached them. And the moment he reached them, one of them placed his right hand on Ryan’s right shoulder, then he voiced out,
“It’s good to see you again, Ryan”.
Ryan didn’t utter a single word, he was only glancing at the boy that made the statement. The others only nodded their heads to the boy’s statement.
The boy took his hand off Ryan’s shoulder after the passing of a few more seconds, then their leader said,
“Come on, let’s go to our usual spot. Let’s go and have a little fun there”.
And with that, all five of them began heading toward the so-called usual spot they spoke about. The place they’d been bullying Ryan at…
Ryan was just following them gently just as he’d been doing all this while. He didn’t try to struggle or fight with them.
They walked past where Dylan was hiding without noticing him at all. It was only Ryan that noticed him because he saw when he hid there.
Dylan was already starting to confirm what he wanted to confirm little by little. He’d confirmed that they usually wait for Ryan at a certain spot, and he’d also gotten to confirm the fact that they usually take him to a certain place to bully him there.
..They were taking him to the place currently, but hadn’t reached the place yet.
He’d get to see the place if he trails them, which he was definitely going to do. The main thing he wanted to see was when they’d start bullying him after reaching the place they were taking him to.
And he was sure that would definitely happen because all the other things Ryan spoke about had already happened.
He was trailing them right now as they were still heading toward the place they’d bully Ryan. He was trailing them so cautiously because not being cautious would definitely ruin things.
The four boys would set eyes on him, and everything would be ruined.
Ryan was the only one that knew Dylan was trailing them, he could feel it. He could only discern this because he knew Dylan was definitely going to follow them.
If not for this, he wouldn’t have discerned shit. Dylan was a good trailer as well, it wouldn’t be that easy to discern he was trailing you when doing so.
He kept on trailing them until they finally arrived at the field they’d been bullying Ryan at…
“So, we are here again”. One of the boys said after arriving at the open-field.
“Let’s have some fun as usual”. Another one stated.
Dylan just stood there watching them waiting for them to start bullying Ryan. But he wasn’t standing so comfortably making it easy for them to sight him, he was standing in a way whereby it wouldn’t be easy for them to sight him.
It didn’t take long before they started bullying Ryan. They started doing all sorts of things to him like mocking him, pushing him, kicking his legs, and so on.
Dylan was feeling immense anger as he was standing there watching them doing all those things to Ryan.
“Their end is very close, there’s no way they’d be able to escape it this time”. Dylan muttered to himself as he was still watching them bully Ryan.
They kept on laughing from time to time as they were bullying Ryan. Ryan was on the ground right now because it hadn’t been that long since one of them pushed him to the ground again.
Still lying on the ground, the leader of the boys inquired of Ryan,
“Isn’t this fun? Aren’t you having fun?”.
Imagine bullying someone and asking the person whether he was having fun. How can the person be having fun when he was in distress?
A person can’t be in serious distress and be having fun at the same time, and they were fully aware of this. They were only asking him this question to mock him.
Ryan just sat on the ground glancing directly at the leader of the bullies without a single word flowing out of his mouth. He didn’t answer the question because he didn’t see any reason to.
The question was a stupid one, and it was obvious he asked him the question to mock him…
“No answer from you. Well, you can keep mute all you want”. The leader voiced out with his gaze focused on Ryan after discerning he wouldn’t answer the question.
Truth be told, he wasn’t expecting him to answer the question in the first place.
They didn’t stop there, they kept on bullying Ryan. They wouldn’t stop until they were satisfied with how much they’d gotten to bully him.
Dylan just stood there watching them bully Ryan while still feeling that immense anger. The thing was that he wouldn’t be able to do anything about the anger for now…but he’d be able to do something about it later.
They bullied and bullied Ryan until they were satisfied with how much they’d gotten to bully him. Then one of them said to him,
“We are done, see you later”.
And with that, all four of them began walking out of the open field. Dylan made sure to move away from where he was standing and hide so they wouldn’t sight him while walking out of the open field.
And they walked out of the open field and walked some meters away from it without noticing Dylan at all. After hiding there for a while and making sure they’d walked far away from the open field and where he was hiding, he came out of his hiding place.
He didn’t only come out of his hiding place, he began walking toward the open field again, heading toward where Ryan was. Standing from a distance, he saw that Ryan just stood up from the ground a few seconds ago and was dusting himself.
He began walking toward Ryan until he reached him. And upon reaching him, Ryan said to him,
“So, you’ve confirmed it now”.
Dylan nodded his head a little before saying, “Yes, I’ve confirmed it. I’ve confirmed that everything you told me were true. They’d definitely pay for it”.
Silence ensued for a few seconds after Dylan was done making that statement, then his voice resounded again,
“So, you’ve been bearing this all this while? They’ve been bullying you so mercilessly like this, and you’ve been keeping mute about it? Well, I’m so glad you finally told me, and I’ve gotten to confirm all you said were true,
All that remains is for me to confirm if they were still bullying other students, along with other bullies. Then I’d take the next step”.
..Ryan only nodded his head a little to Dylan’s statement.
