In the freshly painted house at the top of the small hill.
Mars sat in the living room, staring nervously at the wall as if he were a high school kid anxiously waiting to enter the principal office.
With his keen hearing, he could hear sounds coming from the second floor, and he could smell a scent of a female in the air that felt intoxicating.
At last, a figure descended the stairs with a veil covering her face and baggy clothes that seemed to have been created specially to hide her body’s curves. However, it would still leave room for imagination.
Mars gulped nervously and said, “Miss Cali.”
“Mars…” She whispered with a seductive voice that would soften even the coldest of hearts. She moved over to the kitchen, brought a tea pot with two cups, and then sat down in the living room, on the opposite side from Mars.
“Your crew is growing.” Miss Cali said, glancing towards the curtained window, where she could barely hear voices. “You came for his corpse?”
“Yes, Mercury has something I need.” Mars crossed his legs and took a deep breath. “I think I am close to achieving my dream.”
“Yours or the eye’s dream?” Miss Cali poured them a cup of tea and took a short sip. “If what you are doing succeeds, will you let your crew go?”
“No.” Mars replied firmly. “I found another one. I know that you think it’s inhumane, but I do need them for their fate. I think he is the final one I need. Soon, I’ll have enough fate.”
“They are innocent.” Miss Cali said, but then heard Mars slam the table loudly.

“I didn’t come here to get lectured.” Mars said with narrowed eyes, but then his gaze softened. “Sorry, I lost my temper. I’ll leave soon, and I don’t have a lot of time, but you know why I am here.”
Miss Cali sighed and crossed her legs. A little bit of her thigh showed, causing Mars’ eyes to turn red instantly, and he almost lost control of himself.
“I…” Mars shook his head and said, “I’ll visit you once I have accomplished what I am out here to do. I am then ready to go to the Light Continent, and I want you to come with me.”
“Do I have a choice?” She asked, her voice low and deviant.
“You do.” Mars grabbed her by the hand and said, “Our relationship started with unfortunate circumstances. I don’t want you to think that New North will be in danger if you decide to cut ties with me.
“I don’t want you to be afraid of them anymore. I am very fond of you, and it would mean a lot for me if you decided to come with me out of your own free will.”
“I’ll…” Miss Cali turned away and whispered. “I’ll think about it.”
“That’s all I am asking.” Mars smiled.

Mars looked towards the dark sky, feeling the rain fall on his face. He closed his eyes, letting the droplets wash away his thoughts.
He took a deep breath, letting the cool air fill his lungs, and then he opened his eyes again, a cold and calculated look back on his eyes.
“Haaa…” Mars cracked his neck and wiped the water off his face.
Swoosh—Mars moved past Jake, Zero, and others. He was going straight towards Ambrose!
“Ambrose!” Mars screamed and slammed his hand through Ambrose’s chest, crushing his heart with a tight squeeze.
“Cough!” Ambrose coughed up blood., and when Mars pulled his arm out of his body, he saw his destroyed heart in his hand.
“Y-you fuck…” Ambrose collapsed on the ground and vanished into pixels.
“Ambrose!” Damian and others screamed in shock.
“Another one down…” Mars scoffed and turned to others with a blood-stained fist.
However, then a figure with two swords in his hands appeared in the sky.
Damian and others eyes widened in shock.
“Hmm?” Mars turned around and felt the black blade slashing through his neck. “Argghhh!”
“Humanoid Imperfecta.” Ambrose whispered venomously and kicked Mars in the chest.
Mars flew across the air with an agony-filled expression. He got infected by Humanoid Imperfecta, making him slower, weaker, and more prone to damage.
“One minute!” Ambrose hoarsely shouted. “Kick his fucking ass!”
“Silver Death!” Leon slashed through Mars’ waist.
Henri, with bloodshot eyes, stabbed through Mars’ back with the daggers.
“Star Rush!” Jake screamed and rushed toward Mars with a flurry of punches. Each punch landed with a sickening crunch.
Mars’ eyes were blank and white, as if he were unconscious!
Loki created several fireballs, and once they landed on Mars’ body, they exploded and sent him crashing down to the ground.
“Slash of the Six Worlds!” Ambrose slashed through Mars’ torso, leaving behind a bloody cut, but then continued with another follow-up attack. “Mortal Style, Kanone!”
The black blade stabbed through Mars’ chest, piercing his heart and causing him to fall to the ground.
“Raaaah!” Zero, like a demonic beast, used the tentacles and stabbed them into Mars’ chest. The tentacles immediately started sucking his blood, making him skinnier and even weaker.
“Treso Stabo Cordiso!” Damian slashed Mars’ face with his black nails, disfiguring him.
Mars fell to the ground, covered in blood and struggling to breathe.
Ambrose saw that the time had ended. He couldn’t use Humanoid Imperfecta anymore for the time being.
“I-Is he dead?” Damian asked painfully.
“He must be.” Leon laced his voice with anger. “We have avenged Apollo.”
‘Is he dead?’ Ambrose breathed heavily. ‘I didn’t get the final hit, so I don’t really know, but there is no way anyone can survive such punishment and live to tell the tale.’
“Shit…” Damian fell to the ground with an exhausted look and smiled. He then scratched his forehead, and he could still feel the black heart.
“Umm, the black heart is still here.” He said, and then others also noticed it.
Ambrose’s eyes widened in shock, and he saw the black heart on Damian’s forehead.
‘I should’ve received notification that the contract is over now that Mars is dead, but it never came…
‘Which means…’
He turned to Mars, who was lying on the muddy ground with his eyes closed. He wasn’t moving an inch, and everyone would think that he was dead.
However, at that moment, Mars’ dried and burned skin started steaming. It was clear that he was not dead.
“Ugh…” Mars groaned, and when he opened his mouth, he let out a small puff of steam. “Sun’s… Heat Death of the Universe…”
