The Marshal of the Human Kingdom stood on a small hill, his armor stained with blood, his eyes bloodshot.
The number of this mixed regiment was not large, only a little over ten thousand, but their strength exceeded their imagination. Although there weren’t many high-level troops, their quality was exceptionally high.
In this Novice Area, they were a dimension-crushing force.

Seeing an opportunity, the Marshal of the Human Kingdom immediately ordered the remaining Human troops to reassemble.
“For the Kingdom, for survival!” the Marshal of the Human Kingdom raised his longsword. “The time for counterattack has come!”
However, just as the Human soldiers barely formed a defensive formation, the sky suddenly darkened.
It was the Feather Clan, swarming in like a dark cloud. Their arrow rain poured down like a storm, already launching an assault on the mixed regiment.
“Air raid! Find cover!” the officers of the mixed regiment shouted, but it was too late. The Feather Clan’s second strike had already arrived.
The ground began to shake.

The dozen or so commanders of the mixed regiment, seeing the unfavorable situation, began to organize a retreat.
But the Feather Clan had already sealed off their escape routes. Any unit attempting to flee would be met with aerial strikes. The Marshal of the Human Kingdom finally seized the chance, leading his personal guard towards the enemy commanders.
“Your head will be offered to the Great Xia Alliance!” the Marshal of the Human Kingdom roared.
The battle continued until nightfall.
When the last ray of sunlight disappeared below the horizon, the mixed regiment was utterly routed. Survivors scattered and fled, while the allied forces continued their pursuit.
The Marshal of the Human Kingdom sat exhausted in the corner of the city wall.
He knew that from this day forward, the light of Great Xia Nevernight City would shine upon his land, and they, too, would become subsidiary subjects of Great Xia Nevernight City.
At the same time, the War Lords behind this mixed regiment watched their forces being annihilated, a look of astonishment in their eyes.
