Alora stood shoulder to shoulder with Broken, both of them gripping their weapons firmly. Alora held the Cragstorm Sword, the Legendary-grade blade that Broken had crafted for her, while he wielded his trusted Legendary-grade Wavebreaker Spear.
Each of them wore the Invincible Paragon armor set, their matching armor making them look like a perfectly united pair of warriors. Broken’s armor gleamed in shades of black with touches of blue, while Alora’s was patterned with black and fiery red.
“Level 255…” Alora muttered under her breath. “Your first wife is this furious, what exactly did you do, Broken?”
“Very funny, Princess,” he replied.
“So, how did it feel to kiss a Faery as cute as her?”
“I didn’t kiss her.”
“I saw it.”
“Saw what?”
“You leaned in close. Don’t deny it.”
“Nothing happened,” he insisted. “The kiss didn’t happen.”
“So you’re saying you planned to kiss her, then?”
“I refuse to answer that.”
“Well,” Alora said, stifling a grin, “I think she’s mad because you didn’t kiss her.”
“Are you suggesting that if I had kissed her, she wouldn’t have transformed into Eternal Flame?”
“Who knows?” Alora shrugged, gripping her sword a little tighter. “Too late now. We’d better end this as quickly as possible. I’ve got a feeling she’s going to be one of the toughest enemies we’ve ever faced. And with that level and aura… I’m not sure if the two of us can handle her alone.”
“Agree.”
“So, do you have any plan on how we’re supposed to kill her?”
“I’m afraid not, Princess. I’m not exactly the strategic type. I mostly rely on brute force.” He shrugged. “Sorry to disappoint.”
“Nah,” she grinned, “I know you’re good at a lot of things, just not words, apparently.”
“Oh, that’s my favorite kind of compliment, Princess,” he replied with a smirk.
Then Broken remembered he’d actually gotten something after defeating Morel. A Legendary-grade item, if he recalled correctly. A bracelet, in fact.

“Oh, almost forgot to mention,” he said, “I unlocked a new skill. After securing the bond with Elaine, I can now transform into Eternal Flame form.”
He then gave Alora a quick rundown of his new abilities.
Alora raised an eyebrow. “You said the Eternal Flame form reflects a person’s soul, right? So… deep down, you’re actually an executor, Broken? That’s… kind of adorable.”
“Thanks for the compliment, Princess,” he replied with a slight smile.
Meanwhile, Elaine seemed to be gathering her strength, her aura intensifying with clear intent to attack.
“This is it!”
Elaine charged toward them, running on her feet, while the five spider legs protruding from her back flexed, clearly ready to strike. They looked almost like weapons, similar to Spiderman’s Iron Spider suit?
“Princess, stay back and look for an opening. I’ll take her head-to-head,” he said, tightening his grip on his spear and bracing for impact.

The blue cape draped over Broken’s shoulders glowed brightly, contrasting with the fiery colors blazing around the area.

crashing to the ground.
“Damn!” Broken gritted his teeth.
The cramped area left them little room to maneuver, and one misstep could easily send them tumbling into the magma below.
“This is exactly the kind of situation where I wish Ivana was here…” he muttered.

Dozens of water spears materialized above, raining down on Elaine the moment they entered his water domain. But Elaine’s speed and precision were staggering. She twisted and dodged, slicing through each spear with terrifying ease.
“Damn, Elaine… I think we’re going to need more backup if we want to stand a chance against
her!”
Broken struggled to fend off Elaine’s relentless attacks with his spear, while Alora darted around, looking for an opening to strike. Every so often, Alora managed to land a hit, only for Elaine to block her with one of her spider legs, deflecting her blade.
Frustration mounting, Broken made his decision.
“I’m going to try my Eternal Flame form!”

A dark wave of energy erupted from his body, shadowy tendrils swirling around him and mingling with the blazing heat of the volcanic chamber. The energy wrapped around him like

Now moving with incredible speed and precision, Broken closed in on Elaine, his movements sharp and fluid. With his newfound agility, he managed to fend off five pairs of Elaine’s spider
legs in a single strike.
