Broken then turned to Alora. “I remember Elaine mentioning that Morel couldn’t sustain these monster hordes endlessly,” he said, noticing how the monsters seemed to keep attacking from every direction, their numbers seemingly infinite.
“It seems only Morel could manage something of this scale,” he added thoughtfully.
“Is it possible Elaine was hiding something?” Alora asked.
“No, I don’t believe Elaine was lying,” he replied.
“Then what do you think is going on?” Alora inquired.
“I’m certain there’s another reason for the relentless appearance of these monsters.”
“How is Morel doing this? Where are all these monsters coming from?” Broken muttered, still deep in thought.
He kept a watchful eye on Kingsley below, simultaneously fending off nearby monsters with his Moonvine Knuckles and summoning wild vines to block any creatures trying to close in. Elincia provided aerial support, ensuring Kingsley could continue running without any
interference.
They pressed on, pushing past the relentless barrier of monsters until they finally broke through. Polly descended to the ground, running alongside Kingsley, both deftly dodging
trees despite the dimming light.
Surprisingly, Tora kept pace with them, sprinting alongside.
