She shook her head and responded, “I might have a more viable suggestion than this, seeing as it appears you’re taking advantage of them without offering any concrete assurances. Yet, this is where your true worth lies; you can make unreasonable offers, and they still cannot do anything other than abide by them.”
“Why?” he asked, puzzled.
Freya let out a small laugh at his confusion. “You’ll understand soon enough when they willingly hand over the money you ask for,” she said. “Most of them have a lot of money, so 500 gold coins isn’t a significant amount for them.”
