“This is it!” Lili shouted while holding a single sheet of paper in her hands. The tall spearman and the fat dwarf jumped up from their seats, staring at her in shock.
She continued with her usually stoic voice, burning with excitement, “Look, one hundred years ago someone put up for auction multiple large sapphires and diamonds.”
“Why are you so excited… just throw it into a pile of potential leads…” The dwarf pointed with a frustrated face at a stack of papers piling up on the floor.
“No! You don’t understand… the sales pitch this time was different. The seller advertised them as some gems that his ancestor stole from a dragon nest! Even the auction house has verified it, they really contained mana readings that the treasures in the dragon hoard gain over time!”
“Are you fucking kidding me?! We have been running all over the kingdom for days, checking the leads. While it is simply written here?!”𝑜𝔳𝐋xt.𝑐𝑀
“Haha, I told you that the way to solve this quest is through old, good paperwork.” Lili smugly looked at her dumb but lucky friend, Booba. For the first time, logical thinking won over his inhuman luck.

POV Vesuvius:
The surface of the sprawling lake of magma burst apart as a massive black shadow jumped out of it. The dragon was large but still smaller than before by at least one-third. However, its body weighed even more as its muscles and armor were compacted and compressed.
His whole body was covered in sleek, smooth, shiny-looking black armor made of unknown black metal. The rivers of magma shifting between golden and purple flowed within the crevices within it.
The gold glinted within it, forming complex but naturally looking patterns that made it look like the armor worth of an emperor. The bright pulsing crystals and diamonds occasionally shimmered in it, reflecting the golden and purple light.
The black smoke surrounded the dragon, but brightly glowing and branching lines of golden lights radiated through the dragon’s armor and smoke as if they didn’t exist. They looked like golden veins pulsing with each beat of his hearts.
Even more golden light pulsed in the smoke from the magma and the golden runes engraved all over the armor.
If before the dragon looked bulky, like a walking mountain, now he looked elegant and fast, like a perfect predator or killing machine. Each curve of the armor was sleek and perfectly shaped to not cause any hindrance for the dragon.
His whole body screamed with strength and power, the armor pronouncing his powerful yet still elegant and sleek musculature.
In perfect elegance and silence, the dragon landed outside of the lake, the cracks and fissures exploding through the ground under his legs as his sharp, crystal, neon-red claws with golden light flickering in them dug into it.
Nine long shining horns grew from his head, forming a majestic crown of crystal and gold. Seven were made of neon-red crystal. The last two of them were made of spiraling gold-like material.
One gem playing with color while brightly pulsing in light was embedded in his forehead, finishing his crown together with a golden and crystal mask-like armor covering his face and the rest of his head.
The line of sharp, pointy crystals of neon-red, purple, and golden color went from the tip of his tail to his long neck and head.
The golden lightning crackled and sparkled as long branching arcs of electricity kept jumping between the crystals, horns, and the dragon’s wide wings. The wings brightly shone, most of them made of neon-red crystals, supported by a golden bone-like structure made of unknown super-dense metal.
Vesuvius felt like he was reborn, each of his muscles brimming with such force that he felt like he could beat his former self in close combat with minimal effort, ‘It would be like a large muscular martial artist beating up a regular dude. It wouldn’t be even a competition.’
He felt all the extra blood circle through his body, fueling his muscles with more energy than ever before while spreading the warmth of the divine energy.
On top of that, each was imprinted with reflexive muscle memory allowing him to fight like someone who had practiced for decades.

Description: The battle lord refined their old armor, preserving its old special properties while unifying all its materials to create perfectly fused and compressed armor made of unique black metal-like material.
The material can regenerate from magma and store and absorb energy like the mana crystals that were perfectly dissolved into it.
It is extremely durable thanks to the various alloys, carbon, and minerals treated under extreme pressure with catalytic chemicals and long exposure to the dragon’s mana, lifeforce, and divine energy that are part of it.
It can conduct any kind of dragon’s energy easily, allowing them to create powerful protective barriers without delay. Or it can be used to empower the runes engraved in it.

Apocalypse Dragon Battlelord’s Compressed Muscles (LV 1):
Description: Extremely compressed muscles that are much more durable and harder to pierce due to their absurd density. They allow the battle lord to move extremely quickly and carry power far beyond their size or stats.
It passively uses the excess energy that would normally radiate out of the dragon’s body and go to waste to empower all of its muscles to increase their strength and flexibility even more.
It can also actively be fed more energy for large bursts of muscle strength and speed.
Effects of STR, END, DEF, and AGI stats on the movement speed, muscle strength, endurance, and defensive muscle properties are increased by 33%
MAG, VIT, and DIV stats affect the movement speed and muscle strength at 5% effectivity
Apocalypse Dragon Battlelord’s Martial Arts (LV 1):
Description: A brutal martial art incorporating all the dragon’s natural weapons like claws, teeth, tail, and wings to create an aggressive battle form. It uses the dragon’s various affinities and energies to form barriers around their bodies or to coat their natural weapons in elements or energy.
It contains techniques to infuse different body parts with lifeforce, the mana of various elements, or divine energy for various effects, either increasing strength, endurance speed, regeneration, and so on.
The abilities: Bite (LV 3), and Claw (LV 5), were fused into this ability, vanishing and increasing its level by 4
