The large stone hand swished through the air, its speed unfitting its large size. The huge grey mass narrowly missed the large black dragon in the sky. Causing powerful gushes of winds that sent the dragon twisting through the air.
Vesuvius flapped his wings even faster, stabilising himself and rising higher and higher into the sky, his distance from the giant growing as he felt two blue eyes on his back.
The dragon braced with his wings, stabilising himself high above the giant, his golden reptilian eyes entirely focused on the stone monstrosity under him. His large black shadow on the giant as he opened his mouth, showing long sharp teeth with acid and magma dripping from them.
A bright light erupted from his throat, and a massive gush of the black pyroclastic cloud and magma crackling with lightning exploded out, the incredible pressure pushing it forwards.
The sky glowed yellow, and the giant moved its large stone arm, putting them before its head like a shield.
A loud bang sounded as the stream of magma hit the arm, magma flying in all directions with massive cracks spreading through the stone, large boulders splitting from it and falling down.
The bright yellow light kept illuminating the sky as the magma stream blasted across the sky. The whole stone arm kept heating up, its surface turning orange, with molten orange lava dripping from it and large cracks spreading through its surface.
The giant lifted its second arm, its humongous palm pointing at the dragon, loud rumbling echoing. The next moment three large stone spikes grew out of it, each easily larger than a large car.
At once, they launched out, causing a massive shockwave accompanied by a loud sonic bang as they instantly accelerated, turning into three grey blurs flying towards the dragon.
Vesuvius felt the whole air vibrate, something quickly moving towards him, he flapped his wings, but his large body was too slow.
The three large spikes collided with him, the black volcanic armour and the three spike pushing against each other, their types scratching and disintegrating with large cracks spreading through the dragon armour.
The dragon’s body launched backwards, toppling and rotating through the air, pieces of his black stone falling down. The giant grew smaller as it kept getting further and further away.
Vesuvius pushed his mana through his veins and bones, pumping it into his horns. The three crystal horns flared up in a bright, slightly grey light, with powerful winds rising and howling around the dragon, pushing against his body, slowing down his uncontrolled flight, and quickly stabilising him.
The dragon’s golden eyes glowed in anger, yellow magma leaking all over his body and quickly mending the hole in his armour.
‘So dump… as expected of someone with a head full of stone.’
Two magical circles and one doubled circle ignited in the dragon’s mouth, mana flowing into them, their glow increasing with each second, the two golden reptilian eyes fully focused on the walking mass of stone.
“OOOOI”, the giant opened its cave-like mouth again, a deep howling-like sound coming out, all of the trees around moving. The giant lifted its massive feet from the ground, awkwardly moving it forwards like a toddler learning to walk.
The massive feet once fell back on the ground, everything shaking with loud rumbling and dust clouds rising up, avalanches falling down the surrounding peaks.
The dragon kept flapping his wings, the yellow magma and black smoke rushing out of his throat, rotating around the magical circuit, the black and yellow sphere growing extremely fast, its size and radiance quickly rising.
p The ground shook again and then again, the giant quickly accelerating, crossing the distance towards the dragon with its long steps, crashing everything in its path.
The black sphere in the dragon’s mouth moved forwards, entering the second brightly glowing magical circle, looking unstable as if it wanted to explode at any moment from containing the vast force behind a volcanic explosion. Its surface was flashing and moving like an ocean during a storm, looking like an explosion trapped inside an invisible barrier that would pop at any moment.
The giant kept closing, its huge grey body getting closer and closer towards the dragon, its grey palm already rising with three massive grey spikes quickly growing out of it.
The glowing sphere entered a double circle, its size and glow rising, glowing orange letters quickly forming and orbiting around it.
“Bang!” the three large spikes launched out, a loud sonic boom causing the nearby trees to wave.
At the same time, a large black and yellow mass crackling with golden and blue arcs launched out of the dragon’s mouth, its radiance temporary overshadowing the sun hidden by thick black clouds.
The sphere and the spikes missed each other as they flew in opposite directions, blasting towards their targets at an incredible speed.
The three spikes hit the dragon in his chest, shattering and exploding into dozens of black stone shrapnel. The black volcanic armour cracked, with pieces of it falling to the ground, sending the dragon flying backwards while wildly spinning.
The dragon’s eyes fixed on the massive fiery sphere soaring through the air, quickly flying towards the giant. The next moment the sphere crashed into the giant’s chest, a large shockwave erupting out with an enormous explosion of magma, lightning and a black mixture of gasses.
The giant stumbled, his whole body lightly moving backwards, with a quarter of its chest exploding, sending droplets of magma and sharp shrapnel flying in all directions, leaving behind a large hole with magma dripping from its edges.
Vesuvius bracing with his wings, stabilised again as the giant fell on his knees, the whole forest shaking and the giant loudly howling in a deep tone.
Seeing the opportunity, the dragon flapped his wings with all of his force, his body turning into a colourful blur as he accelerated. His massive armoured body flew straight towards the giant, loud winds howling around him, leaving behind a black trail of smoke.
The dragon’s whole body flared up in bright orange-yellow flames, turning him into a meteor quickly falling towards the kneeling giant, the long claws of the dragon glittering under the sunlight.
He knew that he could safely continue his attack from a distance, but something in him craved to just tear his enemy apart, wanting to vent out all of the frustration from the demon baron just playing with him and taking him as if he wasn’t even his opponent, he wanted to do the same and test his new powers from closer.
There was no worry in his eyes, his whole mind and body sure of his victory. It was all just a play for him, his opponent slow and stupid while lacking powerful enough defence and offence to really endanger him.
The giant’s large arm rose, moving to intercept the dragon, with pieces of large boulders falling from it. With the dragon’s horns brightly glowing, all of the winds, smoke and fire around him pushed him with all of their force and eagerness, turning him into a fiery and lightning bullet.
The blur of the dragon blasted under the slowly moving arm, his claws on his hind legs fully outstretched, prolonged in long yellow blades of fire.
The pair of large blue eyes in the massive round boulder-like head of the giant looked at the quickly incoming dragon, their light flickering.
Like a fiery bullet, the dragon flew narrowly above the giant’s head, his claws striking against the stone head. Loud screeching and cracking entered the dragon’s ears. Pain erupted in the dragon’s legs, feeling them vibrating from the force of a shock.
The giant fell on all four howling with the top of its head shattered, a giant avalanche of stones falling from its head.
The dragon tilted his wings, making a flip in the air both of his front arms and head, pointing towards the crater in the giant boulder-like head, mana flowing through his body, entering his throat and palms with fingers ending in long rune-covered claws.
At once, bright yellow light gathered in them, and yellow magma and black smoke crackling with lightning exploded out, illuminating the giant’s head in bright light as if reflectors pointed at it.
Three loud bangs erupted out of the giant’s head, shattering under the three volcanic eruptions. At once, as if the giant’s body lost its bound, the large boulder forming it lost its attraction, its whole body crumbling, loud banging filled the mountains, and thick clouds of dust covered everything.
