‘This old hag!’ Aether cursed inwardly. His thoughts must have shown on his face because the Principal’s lips curved into a serene smile, “Did you think something bad about me?”
“O-Of course nottttrrrarrrrhhhhhh!!” Aether’s denial turned into a scream as she twisted his body further. The pressure on his bones intensified until he heard a sickening crack.

“FUCK!!” Aether yelled, panic lacing his voice at the sound of cracking bones. Before he could react, the Principal flung him across the room with a force that would have shattered anyone else.
Instead of crashing to the ground, Aether’s body moved with an unexpected fluidity. He landed smoothly, his feet barely making a sound. “Huh?” He looked at his hands, then back at the Principal, astonished by the newfound grace in his movements.

Aether furrowed his brows, confusion clear in his expression. “What do you mean?”
“Your muscles and bones were stiff as if they’d been broken by strong one and healed repeatedly. They were quite rigid, so I twisted your body a few times to loosen everything up,” she explained, her voice as casual as if discussing the weather. Her eyes narrowed slightly, studying his reaction. “Did you fight someone stronger?”

“Principal!!” he cried, trying to hug her, craving the warmth and reassurance of her praise.
But the Principal’s expression hardened. “Hell no, brat!” she snapped, catching his face in her hand and shoving him back with enough force to send him sprawling. She wasn’t fooled; she knew when he was acting, and her eyes narrowed with a mix of annoyance and amusement.
Aether landed on the ground, unscathed. He clicked his tongue in frustration, “Tsk,” he muttered, glaring up at her. She never let her guard down, not even for a second. It was infuriating.
But then, out of nowhere, a sharp, piercing sound filled the room.
