Elven Court
Maelona looked at Aria, her eyes searching for any hesitation. “Aria Zephyr, do you confirm your wish to dissolve this union?” she asked one last time, her voice steady and authoritative.
“Yes, Your Grace,” Aria replied with a firm nod, her resolve unwavering.
Maelona then turned to Alaric, her gaze steady and unyielding. “Alaric Zephyr, even if your love for her remains, a union without mutual understanding can only bring suffering. Do you comprehend this?”
“Y-Yes, Your Grace,” Alaric responded, his voice heavy with sorrow and regret.
Maelona nodded solemnly. “It has been determined that Aria’s act of aiding a wounded man does not constitute adultery under our revised traditions. After thorough deliberation and careful consideration of all grievances presented, the court has reached a decision.
The union between Lady Aria Zephyr and Lord Alaric Zephyr is hereby dissolved.”
A murmur of acknowledgement passed through the audience, though there was little surprise.
With a graceful wave of her hand, Maelona summoned a silver chalice filled with sacred water, the liquid shimmering with an ethereal light.
She held it between Aria and Alaric, “Drink from this chalice, and let the sacred waters cleanse your hearts and spirits, formally marking the end of your union.”
Aria and Alaric each took a sip from the chalice, their bodies momentarily illuminated by a soft glow before returning to normal.
Maelona’s voice was both gentle and authoritative as she continued, “From this moment forward, you are released from the bonds that once united you. May you each find your own paths to true happiness and fulfilment.”
Aria and Alaric bowed respectfully to Maelona and then to each other. “Thank you, Your Grace,” they said in unison.
Alaric gritted his teeth, his emotions a turbulent mix as he immediately announced, “My support for the High Elf tribe, I hereby null that!”
A collective gasp echoed through the court, the shock evident on the faces of all except Maelona and Aria, who had anticipated this outcome.
“Hope you understand,” Alaric looked at Maelona, his eyes challenging. She simply responded, “Of course, Emperor. Since the connection between our tribes was severed, there is no need to support us.”
Alaric’s lip twitched at her calm response. ‘Whatever,’ he thought with a shrug, leaving the court with a sinister smile. ‘Let’s see how you guys are going to beg later…’
Aria immediately ran away to a certain place, a happy and liberated expression on her face. Maelona’s lips twitched at the blatant disrespect shown towards the court, but with a sigh, she followed her daughter.

“A-ha-Aether -ha-ha-” Aria panted as she opened the door, her eyes sparkling with joy. She found Aether standing by the window, gazing at the sky.
Aether turned around, his eyes widening in surprise as he saw Aria’s beautiful, radiant face and… a crazed expression?
A shiver ran down his spine. ‘W-Why does she look like Selene?’ he screamed inwardly before gently raising his hand, his face warm and inviting. “Come to me,” he said softly.

For each step Aria took, her affection rose exponentially, as if something inside her was slowly awakening. Aether trembled inwardly, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ he screamed to himself.
With a flushed face, Aria reached Aether, slowly wrapping her arms around his neck. Aether gently placed his hands on her hips, their faces mere inches apart, their breaths mingling.
“Aether,” Aria whispered, her voice filled with longing.
“Yes,” Aether replied, his voice equally soft and tender.
“My lovely Aether,” she repeated, her eyes shimmering with emotion.
“Hah… Yes, my lovely Aria,” Aether responded, a gentle smile on his lips.
“Hehe… I am a free bird now~” Aria declared, pressing her hot body against his. The heat between them was palpable, an electric connection that neither could ignore.
Aether pretended to be surprised before gently smiling. “Then should I take this bird?” he asked, his lips hovering over hers, teasing and tantalizing.
“Haha… There is no need for the question, just take it~” she replied hotly before sealing his lips with hers in a passionate kiss, their mouths moving together with an urgency that spoke of long-suppressed desires.

As they slowly separated, their eyes locked, filled with mutual longing and lust. It was as if they wanted to merge into one being, their desires overwhelming and consuming them.
Aria’s fingers slowly moved towards Aether’s lower body, searching for something she had longed to touch.
Now, it’s time to enact Aether’s plan…
Catching her hand, Aether’s voice trembled slightly as he began, “The princess ordered me not to show my genitals to anyone… except her.”
“!!!!!” Aria’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief, her expression clouded with a mixture of hurt and confusion. ‘Except her?’
Aether gulped inwardly. It’s not that he didn’t want to do it with her; he loved this cute Elf, but it was something for his future safety…
“W-What do you mean? Except her?” Aria’s voice wavered, filled with disbelief and a hint of dread.
Aether nodded solemnly, his gaze downcast. “Before coming here, she gave me that command.”
“Command? Why?” Aria’s frown deepened as she tried to comprehend the motives of the villainess she despised.
“I don’t know,” Aether admitted, his voice tinged with frustration and helplessness, “She said as long as I remain Master Kai’s slave, I belong to her and her alone.”
Aria’s grip on Aether tightened instinctively, her anger simmering just beneath the surface. “Did you… show yourself to her?”
“Well… There were a few occasions when she saw me naked,” Aether confessed reluctantly, bracing himself for her reaction.

The air crackled with Aria’s sudden surge of fury, her eyes blazing with a mix of jealousy and anger.
Aether gulped, fearing her wrath. “And… there was one time she touched me and…”
“And?” Aria’s voice was cold, devoid of emotion, as if she feared what answer might come.
“I… I can’t,” Aether stammered, his expression filled with fear of her reaction.
Aria blinked, realizing the fear she instilled in him. With a deep breath, she softened her demeanour, reaching out to gently kiss his cheek. “I’m sorry, Aether… I didn’t mean to scare you,” she murmured, her voice tender with concern. “I just need to know, please?”
Aether’s heart melted at the sight of her vulnerability. ‘She can be so fragile,’ he thought, his resolve faltering momentarily, “P-Promise you won’t get angry,” he pleaded softly.
“Hah… I promise,” Aria assured him, her voice trembling with a mix of hurt and longing. “I won’t be angry with you, my love.”
“T-Then she kissed it–”

The ground beneath Aria cracked under the weight of her furious emotions, a testament to her struggle to contain her feelings.

Meanwhile, Maelona burst into the room, alarmed by the commotion. “What’s going on here?”
“Get out!” Aria’s voice was sharp and commanding, her gaze icy as she turned away from her mother.
Maelona flinched as her body automatically closed the door before blinking her eyes. ‘What just happened?’ She reopened the door and saw Aria sitting on Aether, vigorously kissing him without hesitation.
Maelona’s cheeks turned red; she had wanted to prevent them from getting intimate before marriage but seeing Aria finally happy, she decided to leave them alone.
Meanwhile, Aria, sitting on top of Aether, looked at him with a wicked smile before whispering, “Aether~ You are mine~ Aether~ Mine only!!~”
