It's evening and Julian is outside Blaine's Inn, he had no choice to come here as it was the only place he could stay, he walks in to see that that there is no one there only an empty hallway, Julian didn't mind and just walk inside he was then greeted by the sight of an old lady coming towards him
Old lady "You man are you hear to stay"
Julian "Yes I would like to rent a room"
Old lady "Follow me, young man"
Julian followed as the old lady brought him to a traditional Japanese style room and left, Julian entered the room kept his belongings and sat on the corridor, he brings out his pokemons as he instructs them to train by themselves for a little he calls Heatran and teaches him how to control his powers properly and use it with efficiency after that he started to meditate to calm his mind after some time he headed to the hot springs with all his pokemons and rests there for some time
Julian "Should I go and challenge Blaine now? I think I should, in the morning he won't there as he roams around the island all day then let's get ready"
Julian stands up wears his dress calls back his pokemons and Jumps to the other side of the hot spring, luckily no one was here as this part was for women, he walks near the Gyarados statue and pushes it down causing the ground to shake and a hue bolder started to move to revile a passage.
Julian "Well that's the way, I should hurry up and finish this tomorrow I have to collect the Dome fossil which I hope turns into a perfect Kabuto"
He goes inside the passage and after some time, he reaches the end and sees a pokemon battlefield and on it another corner Blaine in his disguise
Blaine "I didn't expect that you will be able to find the Gym without me giving you any riddle"
Julian "I just happened to stumble upon that statue"
Blaine "You are in luck as I of the gym leader of this gym," he says and removes his beard and wig and exposes his bald head"
Julian just stays silent seeing this
Blaine "Are you not even surprised that I am the gym leader? hey you are no fun"
Julian "Why should I be surprised, first you give me your inn's address, then there is a battlefield inside a volcano which is near your gym and then you right hear standing before me, anyone could figure it out, if they cant they are idiots"
Blaine "Ah, I see you are a smart man then let's start the battle, but first the rules, we both will be using three pokemons each you the challenger can switch your pokemons in middle of the battle, the first person to have all his pokemon unable to battle loses"
Julian "Ok let's go"
Blaine "You better be ready I am not an easy opponent, go Ninetails"
Julian "Monferno I choose you"
Blaine "Fighting fire with fire I see, Ninetails use quick attack"
Julian seeing Ninetails move is impressed 'this Ninetail is fast but Monferno is way faster'
Julian "Monferno dodge then use fire spin" Monferno easily dodges Ninetails and follows with a fire spin sending Ninetails back with some damage but not fully extreme as it is still resistant to fire type moves
Blaine "Your Monferno is both fast and powerful looks like you are a very good trainer"
Julian "Thanks for the praise" he nods
Blaine "Ninetails use flamethrower" the flamethrower hits Monferno but he stands his ground and faces the incoming flamethrower, at first he is being pushed back but after a few seconds he has it under control and completely stops the flamethrower.
Julian "Monferno BLAZE"
As soon as Julian gives the command the surrounding temperature starts to rise as the fir on Monferno's tail grows larger and red firey energy start to surround his body, Blaine seeing this becomes alerted but its no use
Julian "Monferno get behind Ninetails and use focus punch" as soon as he hears the command Monferno disappears from his place and next appears above Ninetails back and delivers a powerful focus punch to the back of Ninetails head sending her down crashing due to Blaze Monferno's power and speed has become double.
Blaine "Ninetails try to dodge"
Julian "Don't give a chance continue by using close combat with focus punches" next Ninetails is hit with a barrage of kicks and powerful focus punches putting Ninetails to the ground, after being hit by so many continues focus punches she struggles to get us
Julian "Let's finish this focus blast" Monferno takes the stance and creates a powerful ball of energy and sends it towards Ninetails causing an explosion and rising dust after the dust is cleared Ninetails is seen on the ground fainted, Blaine couldn't do anything and he calls his Ninetails back to her Pokeball.
Blaine "Your Monferno is way stronger than I expected but you still haven't won the battle, Go Rhydon"
Julian "Monferno comeback" he calls Monferno back to his Pokeball
Blaine "Not going to use your Monferno?"
Julian "No he has done a great job and now he needs to rest, go Ivysaur"
Blaine "Ivysaur huh, Rhydon ready, use horn drill" Rhydon comes running towards Ivysaur with a spinning horn.
Julian "Dodge then use razor leaves"
Blaine "Quickly block those razor leaves with your back" as Ivysaur uses razor leaves Rhydon turns his back and blocks it with his back as the razor leaves bounce away but Julian just smile seeing this as now Rhydon is very vulnerable now as he cannot see what will the opponent do
Julian "Ivysaur this is the chance use vine whip and pull his leg" Ivysaur pulls Rhydon's leg and Rhydon comes crashing down belly first to the ground.
Julian "Now leech seed" A small seed is shot at Rhydon which latches onto him and drains his power
Blaine "Rhydon noooooo"
Julian "finish it of energy ball"
Rhydon faints and is unable to battle after being hit by energy ball so Blaine calls him back
Blaine "Looks like all your pokemons are very good at fighting"
Julian "It should be expected of them as I personally train with them and help them come over their weakness"
Blaine "You have won and defeated my two pokemons but my last one is not a pushover, come out"
As he says this the lava under the battlefield starts to bubble up in a certain area as a Magmar comes rushing out of the lava and stands on the battlefield.
Julian "Ivysaur return, Your Magmar looks impressive but I have a surprise for you, come out Heatran"
Seeing Heatran Blaine is shocked as he has never seen this kind of pokemon ever
Blaine "What pokemon is that?"
Julian "Its a Heatran and it leaves deep in the volcanos it fire is way hotter than any normal fire"
Blaine "I see a perfect pokemon to battle in this type of battlefield"
Julain "let's get started, Heatran use Ancient power" using ancient power Heatran all stats rise by 10%
Julian "Now use earth power" by using earth power Magmar is surrounded and he feels like his defense has been lessened use is the exact effect of earth power.
Blain sees this and is confused about what happened, Julian being 'very kind' explains what happened
Julain "By using earth power the opponent's defense will get lowered by 10%"
Hearing Julian explanation Blaine clinches his fist, but he doesn't give up
Blaine "Magmar use tackle"
Julain "Heatran run towards the edge and cling on to the outer walls under the battlefield" Heatran quickly dodges Magmar tackle and run down the edge disappearing from the sight of both Blaine and Magmar, Magmar knowing that it can be attacked in any direction is on alert
Blaine "Magmar stay alert" Magmar turns around to check the other surroundings to find Magmar but it made a fatal mistake Heatran had never moved from its place and was right in front of Julian's eyes, seeing Magmar turn his back Julian quickly gave the command.
Julian "Now Heatran iron head" Heatran quickly ran up and delivered a heavy iron head to the back of Magmar before it could do anything, Magmar was sent flying and crashed on one of the pillars in the volcano.
Blaine "Magmar get up quickly" as Magmar was struggling to get up
Julain "Heatran lets finish this use magma wave" as Heatran focused a large amount of hot magma surrounded him and even the magma in the volcano joined it as it launched it towards Magmar which went like a raging tsunami of lava crashing on Magmar breaking multiple pillars and melting few along the way, Blaine seeing this move was shocked to the core, even Julian was surprised by the power of magma storm as he thought 'luckily Heatran didn't know how to control his energy when we caught him or Monferno would have been hurt really badly, thanks to me telling Heatran how to control his power have drastically improved the power of the move way beyond, even though its still not perfect after some rigorous training Heatran will have full control over his power'
After a second the view is cleared as they see that Magmar is planted on the wall of the volcano fainted.
Blaine "Julian that pokemon and its last move is ridiculously strong, haha it been such a long time science I have been defeated and being defeated by such a strong opponent is an honor, Magmar you did great return".
He returns Magmar back to its Pokeball and walks towards Julian and gives him the Volcano badge, Julian takes the badge and looks at Heatran
Julian "Look this is the symbol of our first victory together and we will grow more powerful together
Heatran "Raaaaaaaan" Heatran roars happily nodding his head.
After saying his goodbye to Blaine he goes back to the Inn and goes to sleep.
