Wattson "Voltorb let's see how good our opponent it"
Julian looked at the pokemon in front of him, due to its body shape it would have a hard time moving around properly but Julian didn't want to underestimate anything, he knew everything has a weakness but also has great strength in them as well.
Julian "Treecko lets go"
Treecko came out and looked at his opponent, seeing it is a Voltorb he became confident, Julian, of course, noticed this change in Treecko but he didn't say anything as he wanted Treecko to experience something for himself.
Wattson "Voltorb use Thundershock"
Voltorb's body suddenly got covered with electricity and launched a fast Lightning strike towards Treecko.
Julian "Treecko jump"
Treecko used his tail in nick of time and jumped up escaping the Thundershock.
Julian "Treecko maintain some distance"
Treecko thought of attacking but hearing Julian ordering him to keep some distance he did so, he didn't know what was it for but he trusted Julian.
Julian "Bullet Seed"
Treecko took the air and shoot numerous Bullet Seeds towards Voltorb.
Wattson saw this and smiled widely.
Wattson "Voltorb now Teleport"
Voltorb suddenly disappeared from its spot and appeared behind Treecko, Julian was surprised by this but he didn't let down his cool.
Julian "Treecko turn around and use Pound"
Treecko spun quickly and swing his tail with full power at Voltorb.
Wattson "Volt Switch"
Voltorb suddenly glowed and sent out a disk made of electricity which hit Treecko and Voltorb suddenly went back to its Pokeball and Magneton came out next.
Julian was surprised seeing this new development, he never thought that Wattson's pokemon could use Volt Switch since a pokemon goes back to its Pokeball and send out its ally next to battle after using Volt Switch it has nothing to do with the gym leader, so Wattson has not broken a rule.
Julian frowned as he saw Treecko falling on the ground and he was suffering from paralysis, yes Treecko was Paralyzed.
Wattson "Magneton use Magnet Bomb"
Magneton sent out a Blue color shiny ball of energy towards Treecko as it started to attract Treecko and it hit him directly causing Treecko to be sent rolling on the ground.
Julian was not expecting Wattson to be this strong and with the move set he has Treecko is in really big trouble.
Treecko was hurt but he struggled a little and got up on his feet.
Julian "This is why you should never underestimate your opponent, got it?"
Treecko heard Julian and looked at him, Treecko understood that he had underestimated his opponent causing him to lose his rhythm.
Treecko nodded and seeing this Julian smiled.
Julian "Great now let's get serious"
Treecko nodded and he suddenly started to Glow, his height grew, he grew out blade-like leaves on his hands and a longleaf on his head, his tail also changed into two long leaves, he was standing 1.2 meters tall. (A/N - 0.9m is the average height of Grovyle)
Julian 'It was time that he evolved'
Treecko evolved into Grovyle, he had a blue and red color scheme on his body, the leaves were all red in color.
Wattson "Hohoho, your Treecko evolved into a fine Grovyle"

Grovyle nodded and was ready to show his new power.
Julian "Agility"
Grovyle's body shined as his speed increased drastically.
Wattson "This is getting fun, Magneton use Magnet Bomb"
Julian "Agility again and chase down Magneton"
Grovyle charged at full speed and activated Agility which increased his speed more, Grovyle soon came in contact with Magneton and got a hold of him, the Magnet Bomb which was sent by Magneton was now trying to pull Grovyle towards it but Grovyle turned Magneton towards the Bombs direction and at last moment pushed Magneton towards it while making his escape in the nick of time, Magneton was sent flying back towards Wattson.
Wattson "Hoho, I didn't see that coming"
Julian "Agility, then use Leaf Blade"
Grovyle once again used Agility and charged forwards the red leaves on his hand started to glow red and suddenly it transformed into a red long blade, Grovyle was fast and was about to make contact with Magneton.
Wattson "Volt Switch"
Grovyle couldn't escape in nick of time and the electric disk hit him and sent him sliding back, he was hurt but this time he didn't get paralyzed.
Julian 'What an annoying move'
Magneton returned back to its Pokeball and this time Manectric came out, Grovyle got himself straight and looked at his new opponent.
Julian "Agility"
Grovyle's body shone again and his speed rose again
Julian "Leaf Blade"
Grovyle's speed this time was off the charts as he bolted towards Manectric with his glowing red crescent blades on his hands.
Wattson "Volt Switch"
Manectric sent out an electric disk of its own but this time Julian didn't fall for it.
Julian "Dodge then use Agility"
Due to Grovyle's extreme speed and the quick reaction he dodged the Electric Disk and used Agility again as his speed rose again.
As soon as Manectric went back and Voltorb came out Julian took action.
Julian "Leaf Blade"
Wattson "Vol-"
Before he could even complete his command, he saw Grovyle going right through Voltorb with his red crescent blade, next Voltorb suddenly exploded and when the smoke cleared he saw his Voltorb has been knocked out.
Referee "Voltorb is unable to battle, Grovyle wins"
Wattson was surprised by the power behind that Leaf Blade, even though Leaf Blade was a very powerful move, pokemons who have just learned it cannot use it to its full power, seeing Grovyle do it he was really surprised.
He was right though, Grovyle has not completely mastered the move, it was all due to the training he did to gain control over his element.
Wattson "Magneton come on out"
Magneton once again came out of its Pokeball and saw Grovyle.
Wattson "Thundershock"
Magneton sent Thundershock towards Grovyle but he dodged it very easily with his current speed.
Julian "Leaf Blade"
Grovyle once again charged towards Magneton with full speed.
Wattson "Magnet Bomb"
Magneton sent out its powerful Magnet Bomb towards Grovyle with full force.
Julian "Protect"
While moving in full speed Grovyle activated Protect as an energy shield formed in front of him as he charged front and slammed into the Magnet Bomb using Protect, both the moves exploded from the collision and there was smoke everywhere covering everyone's vision but it was not over, Grovyle came shooting out of the smoke and went right through Magneton with his Leaf Blade.
Magneton fell on the ground as it had fainted completely.
Referee "Magneton was unable to battle, Grovyle wins"
Wattson "Hoho, I had never had so much fun battling since I was a kid"
Wattson called back Magneton and sent out his final pokemon.
Wattson "Go Manectric"
Manectric came out and it still had not received any damage so it was in perfect shape, Grovyle, on the other hand, was tired.
Julian "Grovyle come back you did a good job, you should rest now"
Julian called back Grovyle and took out another ball.
Julian "Larvitar you are up"
Larvitar came out and looked at his opponent, unlike Treecko Larvitar was calm as he had grown up quite a lot during the past month and his nature also helped him quite a lot.
Wattson "Hahahaha, would you look at that a pokemon which is completely resistant to electric attacks, looks like you had a back up from the start"
Wattson "Manectric use Tackle"
Manectric bolted towards Larvitar with full speed, since electric type moves are useless against Larvitar Wattson had no choice but to use another type of moves.
Julian "Substitute"
Larvitar suddenly created a dummy of himself and moved back, Manectric slammed into the Substitute and sent it flying backward.
Wattson "Quick Attack"
Julian "Sand Storm"
While Manectric was bolting towards Larvitar it suddenly saw could of dust accumulating everywhere completely blocking its vision, Manectric stopped in its tracks as it couldn't see its opponent.
Julian "Bulldoze"
Manectric didn't see it coming at all but it was suddenly slammed from the side by Larvitar whose body was covered with earth energy, Manectric was sent rolling on the ground and it was seriously injured by it.
Wattson was worried as he couldn't see Manectric at all as the cloud of dust was covering the whole battlefield.
Julian "Larvitar finish this, use Earth Power"
Larvitar roared as his eyes glowed yellow, suddenly the ground beneath Manectric started to crack and suddenly and energy blast was sent out attacking Manectric and sent it high in the air and it came crashing down.
When the Sand Storm cleared the result was in, Manectric was knocked out completely.
Wattson looked at the result and sighed, he couldn't do anything as he had no idea what was going on inside the Sand Storm.
Referee "Manectric is unable to battle, Larvitar wins"
Wattson "Looks like I lost"
Wattson came up to Julian and gave his the Dynamo Badge.
Wattson "This badge is a proof that you defeated, take it, I wish you luck in future. Hahahahaha"
He laughed and walked away, Julian looked at him and smiled.
Julian "He really is an eccentric man"
Julian walked out and looked back at the gym.
Julian 'Wattson is stronger than what was shown in anime, Ash's Pikachu was over charged and won very easily in it but now things are different I want to know how will he win against Wattson'
Julian wondered and headed back to his hotel room.
Julian 'I guess Daisy is up by now'.
