At this point, Little Fatty broke out laughing again, clutching his stomach as he gave Li Cangxu a scornful look, “Doesn’t this bastard have a sense of humor?”
Li Cangxu’s gaze passed through Yang Zhen and landed on Little Fatty. After a moment of pause, he chuckled lightly and shifted his attention back to Yang Zhen.
“Damn it! Who do you think you’re looking down on?” Little Fatty snapped, muttering under his breath as he slumped down next to GuanGuan.
A sleeping cat startled awake and looked up in confusion in Li Cangxu’s direction.
By this time, Ghost Pill Master had prepared everything he needed. He gave Yang Zhen a creepy smile and said, “Yang Zhen, anyone who can make a name for himself in the universe, whether notorious or infamous, is a person not to be underestimated. I admit that I underestimated you. However, from now on, you’ll lose every single opportunity.”
Without waiting for Yang Zhen to respond, Ghost Pill Master suddenly roared. His top garment exploded, releasing a massive wave of blood-colored energy. It surged in the air forming countless dark bugs that leaped off from Ghost Pill Master’s body and fused into the air.
The humming was deafening, and everyone who saw this went pale. Little Fatty’s eyes widened in shock as he yelled, “Parasitic worms! This lunatic has sacrificed his own body to the parasitic worms.”
“No good!” GuanGuan exclaimed, rising to her feet with a look of uncertainty and looking in Ghost Pill Master’s direction.
With constant rumbles, a violent aura of bloodthirsty murder along with cold winds swept across, enveloping the endless blood-colored energy waves. It was like the cries of ghosts and howls of wolves, chilling to the bone.
No one in the crowd had ever seen such a dark method before. They all cried out in shock, even Fang Zhongjian was taken aback, and Li Cangxu’s expression hardened.
A low, chilling laugh emerged from the endless waves of blood. Ghost Pill Master sneered, “I gave up my chance to be human, my mindset bearing the accusations and scolds of the world, living in a desperate state. But how could you understand, what true power is?”
His voice, filled with seemingly self-uttered words, grew deeper and deeper, finally he rasped out, “The pill I’m going to refine today, I’ve never made before. Yang Zhen, when you were calculating everything, did you ever think, that someone was also plotting against you?”
Yang Zhen blankly stared at the horrifying waves of blood-colored energy that emanated a wicked atmosphere. Hearing these words, he muttered in response, “When someone plots against Sao Saint, Sao Saint just needs to charge through.”
Ghost Pill Master’s entire body vibrated. The blood waves in the sky rolled violently as he chuckled loudly. Waving his hand, the blood waves in the mid-air suddenly condensed into a blood-colored skull which fixed its eyes on Yang Zhen and surprisingly spoke, “Is that so? Have you ever heard of the Blood-drinking Pill?”
“What?”
GuanGuan gasped and stood up abruptly, “Bastard, you dare to concoct such an evil pill?”
“Evil?”
Ghost Pill Master laughed heartily, “In this world, what’s considered evil or not? What people label as evil is only what those who seek fame and notoriety promote. Everything that exists in this universe has its own reason for existing. Why should we hang labels of “righteous” and “evil” that are artificially set on it?”
Hearing his words, everyone present was taken aback, their expressions turning grim. Even the expressions of the two Saint Lords solidified.
Yang Zhen’s eyes bulged in astonishment, he cursed, “Damn it, he’s really an idiot?”
