Seeing Yang Zhen barge into the prohibited area and drag the saintess out, every member of the Sha Clan was flabbergasted.

Outrage filled the crowd, faces enraged by the disruption to their sacred event.
The Sha Clan members were clearly pushed to the brink of anger.
Yang Zhen had learned from the vulgar cat that this sacred event was of utmost importance to the Sha Clan. Everyone, the elderly and children included, had to participate in this grand and solemn ceremony. He had witnessed many elders and children, however, proving the vulgar cat hadn’t lied to him.
Seeing the raging crowd wanting to tear him limb from limb, Yang Zhen was unperturbed. Used to going his own way, such accusations meant nothing. If pushed too far, he wouldn’t hesitate to stir up major trouble-he’d even dared to seize the saintess. He wasn’t beyond doing anything.

The Sha Clan Elder coldly hummed, raising his hand to halt the insults. He fixed his gaze onto Yang Zhen, questioning, “It seems you are not of our Sha Clan. How could you enter the world formation set up by our saintess? What is your intention, and how will disrupting our sacred event benefit you?”
“Speak, who is behind this?”
-Have you stolen our Sha Clan’s secret techniques, or do you have our bloodline? This is even more disgraceful! Such a traitor should be thrown into a pool of magma to drown!”
The crowd was quickly closing in, with the Sha Clan Elder’s nose almost touching Yang Zhen’s chest.
“All of you shut the hell up for Sao Saint!”
Yang Zhen suddenly bellowed, thunderous and loud, startling everyone. Seeing the enraged and fierce Yang Zhen, every member of the Sha Clan shivered, fearing that this furious guy would tear them apart!
Although Yang Zhen was only a practitioner who had recently survived a catastrophe, no one had heard of anyone else in his situation being able to enter the prohibition set up by the Sha Clan’s saintess.
Yang Zhen’s furious roar completely silenced everyone around, and he was growing angrier by the minute. He pointed at the Sha Clan Elder’s nose and snapped, “Damn it, what are y’all shouting for, huh?”
Growing angrier as he spoke, Yang Zhen poked at the Sha Clan Elder’s nose, “Which eye of yours saw Sao Saint disrupting your sacred event, huh? Did you see it?”
The Sha Clan Elder was dumbfounded, seemingly stupefied by Yang Zhen’s
tirade.
Stupefying one wasn’t enough, Yang Zhen lifted his head sharply and pointed at the crowd, “And you, why are you blindly shouting? Did you see Sao Saint disrupting your sacred event?”
Even Old Ghost Hei and others were dumbfounded, unsure where Yang Zhen’s confidence was coming from.
Damn it, who saw you disrupting their sacred event?
Isn’t it clear that so many people here saw it? Your audacity to tell such a blatant lie is amazing—who did you learn that from?
While everyone was bewildered, watching the Sha Clan members be even more bewildered by Yang Zhen’s tirade was a relief.
At this point, no one would expose Yang Zhen. In fact, many stood with fierce expressions, seemingly backing Yang Zhen up.

The Sha Clan Elder’s face went ashen. He was about to retort when Yang Zhen laughed and pointed his finger back at his nose again.

The Sha Clan Elder’s face changed and he was just about to retort when Yang Zhen cut him off with a wave of his hand.
“Look at her! See her desolate expression, the tears on her face, the despair of not wanting to die. Tell me, is this not brutal? Do human rights and humanitarianism even exist anymore?”
Even Old Ghost Hei and the others wore blank expressions as they watched
Yang Zhen, utterly at a loss for words.
Although Yang Zhen was spouting nonsense, everyone felt… that he made sense. Yang Zhen had voiced everyone’s thoughts so eloquently.
“And… And how is this any of your business?” One of the Sha Clan members asked defiantly.
“How is it my business?” Yang Zhen pointed to his nose, gazed at the person who had spoken, and nodded, “Good point, how is it my business? Dammit, it is my business. Such a pretty young lady, her death would be a great loss to the world. The world is everyone’s, not just the Sha Clan’s. If Little Ice were to die, wouldn’t your guilt be great? Wouldn’t you have offended everyone under the sky?”
Even though the words Yan Zhen spoke were absurd, he himself nearly believed them and continued in earnest, “Am I, Sao Saint, similar to you all? A bunch of savages? Can you even understand my magnanimity?” “Superficial!” Yang Zhen shouted, gripped Little Ice’s soft, cold hand, and scowled at the crowd, “Today, I, Sao Saint, am present. Let’s see who dares pick on Little Ice. If you remain stubborn and the heavens don’t eliminate the Sha Clan, I, Sao Saint, will! No one will be able to save you then. Mark my words!” Yang Zhen’s words rang loud and clear, resounding throughout the mountains. Everyone was dumbstruck, watching Yang Zhen. Even Gu Nuoyu, who was being held by him, stared at him in bewilderment, forgetting to pull her hand away.
“But… but we just want to revive our Sha Clan, we want the protection of the saintess!” The Sha Clan Elder said urgently, his face turning red with embarrassment and anger.
Yang Zhen blinked in surprise, looking questionmgly at Gu Nuoyu.

Seeing the blank expression on Yang Zhen’s face, the Sha Clan Elder snapped back to reality and bellowed, “To sacrifice one life to ensure the survival of the Sha Clan is definitely worth it!”
Yang Zhen widened his eyes, startling the Sha Clan Elder, “What the fuck! Isn’t that still killing?”
At this point, the Jestercat and Pranksterchicken had run up to Yang Zhen and tugged at his pant leg.
Yang Zhen shook off the tugs at his pants and continued to berate the Sha Clan, leaving them all dumbfounded.
And funny enough, he found the whole experience of castigating the entire Sha Clan to be oddly satisfying. He was slightly starting to enjoy it.
“Sacrificing one life for the survival of the clan is worth it?”
Yang Zhen glared and roared, “Bullshit!”
Bull… Bullshit?
Everyone was stunned by his words and looked at Yang Zhen dumbfounded. Gu Nuoyu watched Yang Zhen, her blank face flickering with a hint of gratitude.
Taking the opportunity, Jestercat scampered up onto Yang Zhen’s shoulder and said grumpily into his ear, “Damn it, you got it wrong.”
“What the hell?” Yang Zhen was taken aback, looking strangely at Jestercat.
I, Sao Saint, have been here, exhausting my wits to berate them, and now they’re telling me I got it wrong?
