The cat sneered with an awkward laugh. Just as it was about to reply, an earth- shattering cry resonated, piercing through the hall.
The long sword in Hua Youyue’s hand glowed brightly, emanating an imposing aura that was almost impossible to look directly at. It seemed as if it could freeze the world, instilling terror in all present.
“Moon Shadow!” Hua Youyue murmured to herself. With a casual wave, she swung the sword, tracing a high arc in the air. Amidst the hum, a frosty moon appeared in mid-air and the surrounding temperature dropped even lower.
Just then, to everyone’s shock, the seat of the sect leader suddenly radiated an overwhelming aura. A young figure appeared leisurely, his energy vast and profound, encompassing the universe and stars, making it hard for anyone to look at him directly.
The young man’s hair was as white as snow, his eyes were electrifying. Glancing around, his gaze finally rested on Hua Youyue. He spoke, “Congratulations, the inheritor of Moon Shadow.”
Startled, Yang Zhen went over to Hua Youyue, staring at the white-haired young man and demanded, “Who are you?”
“I am Mo Fan!” The white-haired young man did not even glance at Yang Zhen, continuing, “Do not panic. By the time you see this scene, I probably have been dead for thousands of years, leaving behind a mere obsession, hoping for the continuation of the legacy.”
Upon seeing the man’s arrogance, and more importantly, his indifference towards him, Yang Zhen instantly erupted in rage. He pointed towards Mo Fan and roared, “I don’t care whether you are one obsession or two, I say…”

Yang Zhen wasn’ t worried about the young girl’s safety. The inheritance couldn’t be learned in a day or two. He thought wandering around might bring some unexpected luck and he might discover the place where even the almighty couldn’t completely comprehend.
Seeing this, the rest of the crowd also started to disperse, venturing out to look for other inheritances in the sect.
