The Crimson Lizard King was immediately pulled inside. Though the Dragon Slayer debuff timer continued, its HP had stopped draining.
Orson, now in free fall, plummeted toward the ground. “3… 2… 1… come out!” he shouted.
As soon as the debuff expired, he summoned the Crimson Lizard King again.
With a resounding roar, the Lizard King reappeared, catching Orson mid-air and flying back into the skies. Its previously severed lower half was fully regenerated, though its HP was reduced by nearly half.
Infinite Dimensions differed from other online games—tamed beasts only had one life. If they died, the player would need to tame another.
This made beastmasters especially cautious. In life-threatening situations, many would store their beasts to protect them, even if it meant sacrificing themselves since players could respawn but beasts could not.
Using beasts to absorb debuffs was a hallmark of a skilled beastmaster and particularly effective against bosses with deadly status effects.
But before Orson could breathe a sigh of relief, Skyfeather unleashed another attack through her Magic Eye Refract skill. Multiple bolts of black lightning ricocheted between magic eyes, locking onto Orson once again.

“How can I get my hands on that?” Orson wondered, his mind racing.
Killing a Domain Master boss often yielded incredible rewards, but there was no guarantee the magic eyes would drop.
In his previous life, no one had ever reported obtaining this skill or item.
Judging by its effects, it was likely a legendary item or sacred artifact—rare to the point of absurdity.
Relying on pure luck to obtain it wasn’t Orson’s style.

For ten minutes, Orson endured a relentless barrage of attacks. But as long as the Dragon Slayer Arrow wasn’t used, his shields and the Crimson Lizard King could manage the damage.

“Quit pretending. You’re running on fumes. Hurry up and return to normal,” Orson muttered, gritting his teeth.
He doubted Skyfeather’s peak state could last much longer. If a fully-powered Arrow Saint had been stationed in the Celestial Fortress, Usher would never have conquered it in his past life.
As Orson predicted, the locking effect disappeared. The magic eyes retracted into Skyfeather’s hands, and her rage mode ended. Her gaze grew vacant once more.

Orson, now thoroughly annoyed, wore a grim expression as he urged the Crimson Lizard King forward, resuming his kite-and-attack strategy.

Skyfeather, now silent and detached, showed little reaction to Orson’s provocations. She no longer raged or retaliated recklessly, and her demeanor was eerily calm.
Despite outward confidence, Orson was nervous. The Crimson Lizard King’s HP had dropped below 30,000, leaving it unable to survive another Dragon Slayer Arrow.
Still, he gambled that Skyfeather wouldn’t re-enter her rage mode. He knew that Infinite Dimensions never designed truly unbeatable tasks. Even the most challenging content had its limits.

Combined with the Cursed Healing buff, which boosted all attributes, Orson’s attacks now dealt over 5,000 damage per hit, with an additional 20,000 burn damage per second.

Victory was within reach. But just as Orson was about to finish her off, he paused and activated the guild channel.
“How’s it going on your end?” he asked.
Female Dorm God: “Huh? Boss, you’re still alive?”
Orson was speechless. Stewart had fled immediately when told to escape, reuniting with Bradley and the others without hesitation.
Madman: “I’m fighting something that’s like a giant meatball. Three million HP, I kid you not!”
Iron Cavalry: “It’s covered in poison gas. Anyone who gets near it melts. If it weren’t for Dorm God buffing me, I’d be done for.”
Bradley: “Orson, quit slacking. If you were here, we’d have cleared the dungeon already. I’ve figured out the boss’s mechanics—it’s doable now.”
“Good, sounds like you’re almost done. Madman, are you free?” Orson asked.
Madman: “What do you think? I’m the main DPS here. Do you think I have free time?”
Madman’s response instantly sparked Bradley’s ire.
Bradley: “Main DPS? You contributed 6% damage. My 17% makes me the real MVP!”
Madman’s face burned with embarrassment. Grabbing Bradley by the collar, he shouted, “I was also directing the team, you idiot!”
Texas Musk: “Directing? You’ve been looting the minibosses for money! Half the loot’s missing after every fight—care to explain?”
Madman turned red as the group roasted him mercilessly. Orson couldn’t help but chuckle, imagining the chaos in the dungeon.
“Stealing boss attributes has a 2% success rate, and all I get is temporary mana boosts. I’m a rogue—I don’t even have a mana bar! What am I supposed to do with that?!” Madman complained, his voice dripping with frustration.
“My bad, my bad… but I’ve got a glorious mission for you,” Orson said, clearing his throat.
Madman: “If you’re gonna screw me over, just say it.”
Orson: “Nonsense. Would I ever betray my brothers?”
Feigning sincerity, Orson continued, “Actually, you’ve been saying you wanted a girlfriend, right? I realized I haven’t been supportive enough, so I’ve got someone for you to meet.”
Madman: “A girlfriend? You’re serious?!”
Madman perked up, his interest piqued. Bradley and the others were equally surprised.
Orson: “She’s bold, affectionate, and even lets you touch her… Yep, very hands-on.”
The guild erupted in chaos.
Random Member 1: “I’m in! I’ve been single for 30 years—I’m great with my hands!”
Random Member 2: “If he doesn’t want her, I’ll take her. I’ll treat her like a queen!”
Random Member 3: “Shameless pigs! Stay away from the girls in our guild!”
The female guild members retaliated, branding every man who spoke up as a beast.
Madman: “Quiet down! This is a serious matter. You idiots keep raiding—I’ll handle this myself.”
Straightening his posture, Madman donned an air of authority.
“Orson, wait for me. Your loyal dog is on his way!” he declared with a grin.
