Orson rolled his eyes. The dramatic entrance he’d planned was completely ruined by the little troublemaker beside him.

With those words, Orson’s expression shifted, and above the Ghost King Palace, blood mist began swirling, dyeing the entire night sky blood-red. At the peak of the arched palace, a lone figure emerged.
Standing over three meters tall with a remarkably handsome face, it would have been hard to tell if this was a man or a woman, had it not been for the exaggerated bulge of life force. The figure’s eyes were like black holes, glowing with an eerie light as blood-red wings unfurled to a ten-meter span. The figure held two staffs—one long, one short—both embedded with massive dragon soul crystals.

Orson’s eyes narrowed.
The Sea of Blood, Raging Waves, an A-tier blood magic spell, could summon blood serpents to assist in battle by manipulating all flesh and blood around it. The more blood and flesh accumulated, the more powerful the blood serpent would be.

Orson frowned at the request. This girl was terrified, yet had the audacity to ask him, an outsider, to kill her ancestor. What a bold little brat!
Orson chuckled faintly, watching the nine blood serpents charge toward them. He raised the Supreme Arcane Blade and lightly swung it, summoning the Chaos Hexagram. He whispered, “Awakening: Infinite Tsunami!”
The magic Dragon Curse transformed!
“Disgusting snakes, get away from me!” Orson sneered as the sound of the tsunami surged through the sky. The waves, glowing a brilliant blue, swept in from all directions.
In an instant, the entire Ghost King Palace was engulfed by the devastating waves, and the nine grotesque blood serpents let out horrified shrieks as they were flung into the palace.
Ghost King’s eerie eyes widened in shock as she leaped down, blocking the beautiful woman before her with her vast blood wings, shielding her from the tidal wave.
Hillogu: “You heretic, you deserve to die!”
A large water dragon appeared in front of Hillogu, erecting several water walls made of water elements that lessened the tsunami’s impact, though both the dragon and Hillogu were knocked off balance, crashing into several palace structures.
“Winona, kill him!” Hillogu staggered to his feet and shouted toward Ghost King.
Ghost King’s face turned cold, and a regal aura enveloped her. The blood mist around her thickened as she spoke in a chilling tone: “Mortal, you are not worthy to command me.”
Hillogu scoffed and raised a brilliant Holy Light scroll. “In the name of the immortal King of the Light Dragons, I command you to kill him!”
Ghost King instinctively took a step back, visibly wary of Hillogu’s scroll. She swung her two staffs in a wide arc, summoning a black hexagram that nearly enclosed the entire palace.
“The spell radius is on par with a Dragon King!” Orson muttered as he observed the formation.

“Ursula wishes to negotiate with you.”
