“Young master, the envoy from the Xien family has arrived at the front hall, and the wedding banquet has been prepared,” said a burly man respectfully.
If any members of the Godslayer guild were present, they would be extremely surprised to see this man—Dragon Grand, who claimed to be the descendant of the War Saint.
“Hazel’s parents still refuse the union of the two families and are preparing to seek help from the Judge of the Royal Court in the capital to annul the engagement,” Dragon Grand continued.
Upon hearing this, Cain remained expressionless. His cold, deep eyes revealed no sign of emotion as he spoke in a low voice: “Whoever ruins my plan to take back the Celestial Fortress from my ancestors will walk down a dead-end road. Do what you must, I only want one result.”
Dragon Grand replied, “Currently, the Adventurers’ Guild has taken control of the watchtowers. Their strength is not comparable to yours, but you should still be cautious of that Dragon Slayer.”
“Hmph, I am a descendant of the Imperial Dragon Bloodline, the rightful heir of the Light Dragon Empire. Why should I fear them?” Cain glanced coldly at Dragon Grand, who immediately lowered his head.
After Dragon Grand left the hall, Cain stood up, wearing his golden lion robe. His golden eyes shimmered with a strange light.
“Adventurers, a wondrous lifeform from another world…” Cain muttered to himself. “One step away from the door of truth, and I will uncover the buried secrets of the gods.”
Meanwhile, in a private house outside the Lord’s Mansion.
Only I Am the Coolest: “Stop arguing, listen to me. You guys cover me, and I’ll rush in, steal the bride, and run. As long as I leave Pondenorlin City alive, the mission will be a success.”
Like a Durian: “Stop talking nonsense! I had a friend check the wedding’s defenses. There are at least a few hundred NPC guards, and thousands of players waiting for us. Who’s going to give you the chance to rush in and steal the bride?”

“Ugh… I… you guys decide,” Drunken Dream said reluctantly.
He was standing in a corner, and his words seemed like praise, but they were more like mockery. He felt deeply hurt, thinking, Why? Why is this happening?
He had the qualifications of a Dragon Rider, an S-tier class! He was backed by a powerful organization comparable to the DK Group! Even though he entered the game two days late, why was he being looked down upon like this?

Moreover, the Dragon Rider class ensured that as long as he didn’t die, the entire team would remain invincible!
Drunken Dream not only had task ties with the Undead Silver Dragon Solomon, but by completing this hidden quest, his intimacy with Hazel could exceed 60 points. This could unlock the next phase of the Dragon Rider quests and the potential to tame the Silver Dragon in the future.

The Xien family was one of the five platinum families of the empire. Their family produced many Dragon Riders and Light Mages. Drunken Dream would likely receive Hazel’s parents’ favor and, later in the game, tame the Undead Silver Dragon Solomon.
Orson couldn’t help but watch Drunken Dream silently, thinking to himself: “Silver Dragon Knight King, Drunken Dream, the super backup.”
“Dead in the second year of the hardcore apocalypse, a victim of the Supreme Guild’s internal politics.”
He’s a real man, Orson thought, as Drunken Dream had earned the title of The Last Man of the Platinum Family.
When other Platinum families feared confronting the Demon Army to protect their power, Drunken Dream had fought through the horde alone, risking his life time and time again.
Unfortunately, the Supreme Guild had always been notorious for its internal strife, and Drunken Dream was betrayed by his own guild.
Drunken Dream took the lead, showing his leadership skills: “Mage, cause some chaos. Cool guy, lead the way to steal the bride. I’ll hold the front with our priest friend. Once we grab her, we pull out immediately.”
After finalizing the plan, the group left their hidden base one by one.
“Adventurers, please follow me!”
Soon, Hazel’s personal attendant arrived, and they received the prompt to enter the wedding instance.
The scene shifted, and the sky darkened.
Dozens of figures donned stealth gear, reducing the likelihood of being detected by the guards.
“What a bunch of nonsense… so many guards. This wedding feels more like a kidnapping!”
They were all startled as they entered, seeing countless red dots on the map—NPC guards and players, with a few particularly powerful enemies among them.
Drunken Dream spoke in a low voice, “Those NPCs in silver dragon cloaks, don’t engage them. Their health is at least 3 million, Lord-Class strength!”
Everyone nodded vigorously. Drunken Dream took command, directing the group to enter the Lord’s Mansion, carefully positioning everyone in advance.
Orson smiled faintly, stopping in his tracks.
“Thank you, Fire Mage,” Drunken Dream said, turning to Orson. He paused for a moment, feeling an inexplicable sense of familiarity.
A pressure spread in the air, and Drunken Dream suddenly felt uncomfortable.
Orson nodded gently, thinking to himself, If I can help, I’ll lend a hand.
It would be another two years before Drunken Dream could tame the Silver Dragon, but if his bond with Hazel grew fast enough, that timeline could be shortened significantly.
Once the group dispersed, Orson sat down outside the wall. Suddenly, his eyes snapped open.
