An indifferent aged voice resounded as an immense pressure descended on everyone in the Archive.
Tyrion’s body stiffened as he felt the pressure around him and Wade was even more drastic.
It was as though the pressure of an entire mountain weighing down in them.

Wade glared at Tyrion, the hatred and killing intent thick in his eyes.
“I will meet you outside.” His voice warped, enhanced by ‘dust’ the sound wave drifted against Tyrion’s ears before dispersing after which, Wade turned around to leave.
Tyrion raised an eyebrow in surprise. That was actually a neat trick. He hadn’t ever thought of using ‘dust’ to manipulate sound waves before. Well, except in combat. However, wade taught him something new.
Shaking his head, he ignored what just happened and went to the combat section.

Tyrion took the books, arriving before the old Librarian.
An hologram was in front of the old man, streaming a video of a Cat Competition.
When Tyrion stopped at the counter and looked on with a strange expression.
The white-haired old man watching a video of a cat competition slowly raised his head in annoyance.
The old man squinted his eyes, his wrinkled eyebrows covering the entity of his eyes.
The old man muttered slightly. “Strange, you’ve clearly trained in Berserk Explosion art, yet you still live.”
Tyrion raised his brows. Wasn’t this old man cursing him to die?
“What do you want?”
Tyrion dropped the books on the counter. “I wish to purchase these manuals.”
The old man gave one glance at the books and said slowly. “If you truly want to die, I could assist you.”
Tyrion blinked his eyes, the old man’s expression was neutral, along with his heavy, sagging wrinkles, Tyrion couldn’t discern the old man was being serious or was just joking.
“Uhm, I just want to purchase a few techniques.”

As the old man said this, Tyrion opened up his neon watch, typing the amounts, he flicked his fingers at the old man, initiating the transfer.
The old man’s holo TV blinked, acknowledge the transfer.
Tyrion grabbed the books and was about to leave when the old man said. “Become my disciple.”
Tyrion’s almost staggered where he was and immediately, the entire library turned silent as the other students who had been selecting techniques all looked incredulously at in one direction, at Tyrion!

Tyrion slowly turned towards the old man, stunned by the man’s sudden words.

The old man said again, just in case Tyrion didn’t hear him clearly.
Tyrion now was stunned. He actually thought he has heard wrongly but the old man repeated it again, slowly this time.
The entire students in the Archive, including second year and the third year held their breath, not daring to make a single noise.
Third year students were wondering in their head just who Tyrion was to get the attention of Old White.
“How’s this possible!?”
“What does he possess that I don’t have!?”
To be honest, most of them were here to show off their comprehension ability just to gain the favor of the Old Man but for the past century the old man had never once accepted a student as his personal disciple unlike the other Instructors who rush to accept talents.

Tyrion frowned slightly. He knew where this was. This was Death Gate Academy. Here, even your family would smile while stabbing you in the back. No one in here is to be trusted.

“I will think about it.” Tyrion responded. Of course he didn’t dare to reject directly. Everyone knows the unpredictable behavior of Old White.
Who knows if the ugly old man would capture him and force him to be his student. Hence, he said he would think about it.
The old man slowly nodded his head. “Take your time.”
Saying this, the old man got back to watching the cat competition on his neon TV.
