The ventilation duct was kicked open, and Kojiro, holding a flashlight, poked his head out, looked around, and said with a smile, "All clear."
"All clear!"
Musashi also poked her head out of the ventilation duct, her lips slightly curled as she surveyed her surroundings.
"Clear."
Meowth also squeezed his big head out of the small space left by Musashi.
The three of them nimbly jumped down from the high ventilation duct without making a sound.
Kojiro shone his flashlight around the electrical appliances, searching for their target.
In front of a massive machine, Kojiro's face lit up with Joy, and he excitedly said, "This is it."
The flashlight's beam wasn't strong enough to illuminate the entire machine, but what was visible was enough to show it was a behemoth.
"This is it!"
"This is it, I'm taking over, Meow!"
Musashi and Meowth were also very happy; finding what they were looking for so quickly was truly a wonderful thing. Meowth's claws gleamed with a cold light in the dark shop...
"Is this Cerulean City?"
Ash looked around like a country bumpkin entering the city, observing Cerulean City's facilities. Cerulean City had a different style from Pewter City.
"The streets are beautiful."
Brock also praised it; this place was much prettier than the stony streets of Pewter City.
"Haven't you guys noticed that Xiao Xia is gone?"
Yu Feng pointed behind him, indicating that Xiao Xia, who had been following Ash, was no longer there.
"She seems very unwilling to come to Cerulean City."
