Calista was back trending online, and with this came more attention. No one on earth didn’t like attention.
There was something wrong with all of this, but Calista didn’t care, as she knew it could positively influence her reputation.
Calista was going to use Lorenzo to rise to the idol she knew she could become.
But she hadn’t gotten Kyle’s approval just yet and had no idea how he would react to this considering she had already betrayed him once.
She didn’t know if Kyle had forgiven her either because they hadn’t spoken for a while.
Lorenzo was in a relationship and there was no telling how this rumour would affect him but it was a good cover.
The world was more accepting of homosexuals but there was still a stigma that came alongside it. More so, she had no idea how Lorenzo’s relationship with his boyfriend or what arrangement they had but it was strange that no one was able to bring up anything about his relationship the moment he started to trend which meant that it must have been kept a secret.
Sex sells and especially with thirsty women, men weren’t the lustful creatures as society painted them out to be, the true perverts were women.
Calista didn’t care much about this as it would help their brand so there was no such thing as bad publicity.
She was in contact with Ella and Ella wanted to meet up, Calista was cautious because Kyle had made the connection.
She couldn’t afford to slip up and with the attention on her, she knew she might have to change her neighborhood as well.
She couldn’t entertain people in her home anymore but there was a sense of comfort that came with it.
She proposed they meet up at a suite in the city, a very expensive suite and this could also serve as a good place for her to show Ella the kind of lifestyle she could expose her to.
Calista liked Ella but their friendship was based on the wrong reason.
She got ready but Ella had told her she wished to introduce someone to her, this was what sweetened the pot.
Calista hoped that this person was Jane but she didn’t know how Kyle would respond to this.
She couldn’t aggravate him but she had plausible deniability because Ella never stated the person’s name.
It took a couple of hours for them to eventually meet but Calista was going all out as she drove her Lamborghini as this would grant her special treatment by default.
She went ahead of Ella to get the place ready and this included booking a room to have a ‘girls’ night’ out.
Calista arrived and like she expected, she was treated like a celebrity but it was clear that they had no idea who she was.
That was to be expected, not everyone would know her because she was relatively new to the scene but money was one language that everyone recognized.
She was given the VIP treatment and she entered the five-star hostel but the elegance within the hotel was something that she didn’t expect.
She has been to some expensive places herself over the years but this took the pick because she could afford it.
Ella and her friend arrived shortly after but the place was way too big that Ella got lost the second she stepped foot inside.
She had to shoot Calista a quick text and to her relief, she got a response right away.
Ella was led by one of the waitresses, the waitresses wore clothes that were more expensive than what Ella and Jane wore combined.
This not only showed that they were well paid but their image was just as important.
Ella and Jane followed the stunning lady who could easily pass as a model.
Everyone here was on another level and Ella realized she was not only underdressed but this place was something she wouldn’t have been able to afford in a million years with her previous salary.
But that had changed with her recent payout and she was glad that she could or she would have been self-conscious the moment she stepped into this place.
She might be underdressed but it didn’t mean it was out of her price range.
Jane’s eyes descended upon Ella for the first time and she couldn’t believe she was even prettier in person than in those doctored pictures online.
But Calista was drawn in right away by Jane’s blue eyes; however, the sundress she wore wasn’t anything impressive but it helped bring out her petite frame.
This was an example of how expensive things didn’t necessarily guarantee it would look good on you otherwise this sundress had no reason to look this alluring on Jane.
“Hello, Calista!” Ella began the conversation prompting Calista to get on her feet to hug her ‘friend’, it was a firm hug and Jane stood there awkwardly.
“Ella! I’m so glad you could make it,” Calista said before breaking away from the hug to give Jane some of that attention.
“Are you going to introduce me to your cute friend?” Calista snuck in a compliment and this was a very good first impression because Jane flushed almost immediately.
There was something about when a pretty woman complimented you, it hit you differently than when a man did the same.
Of course, Kyle was the exception in this case as Jane was head over heels in love with him. But regardless, this compliment made her gush and it had nothing to do with her sexual orientation either.
“This is Jane, my friend who became a sister,” Ella said with a wide smile but Calista walked towards her.
“Jane! Oh my God! I have heard so much about you,” Calista said, grabbing her hand in hers.
“M-Me too!” Jane stuttered, clearly surprised by this reaction but felt even more intimidated by the younger lady in front of her.
“She is beautiful…” Both ladies thought in unison.
