Kyle had provided Ella something she couldn’t anywhere else and the best part about all of this was there was nothing sexual planned.
This was simply Klye being a good person and helping someone hurting.
Kyle returned home but wasn’t bothered by the money he had spent that night.

When Kyle returned home, it was well past 11 p.m., yet Kyle came home to see Jane curled up on the couch with a blanket over her.
She was falling in and out of sleep, on the brink of slumber and Kyle could tell that she had been waiting for him to return all this time because she was worried about him.
It brought a smile to his face because she wasn’t aware enough to even know he had returned.
Kyle walked up to her slowly and gently placed a kiss on her forehead that jolted her awake.
“Hey, beautiful…” Kyle whispered gently, Jane leapt up because she thought it was an intruder and the top of her head slammed into Kyle’s jaw, clamping it shut.
“Ouch!” Kyle exclaimed and that was when her sleepy brain registered what was going on.
This, however, told Kyle that Jane was still reeling from the effects of that day even if it was normal to have this reaction when startled.
However, this wasn’t the first time that Kyle was doing this but he had never done it under these conditions either.
Kyle wondered if there was something she wasn’t telling him even if he had no intentions of pushing it.
Kyle scooped her up, the increase in his physical strength was evident and Jane didn’t struggle.
She simply buried her head into his chest like a child.

The night wasn’t like that for everyone else.
Calista was having a blast online, going through the comments and enjoying the attention she was getting because she knew that this was something that she couldn’t get elsewhere.
In her mind, she was at the pinnacle of the attention that came with it.
Calista noticed a particular comment that bothered her, she saw someone spam a laughing emoji beneath the picture with a link attached to it.
Calista knew she had acted in a few despicable movies in the past but it wasn’t something she was particularly ashamed of.
Even though the movies would sway the opinion of the public in directions she couldn’t predict.
Calista didn’t fret because there wasn’t any nudity and it was mostly softcore porn,
It was anything but explicit, to say the least, and Calista understood this.
Before she knew it, the comment gained traction and clips of those movie scenes began to trend but it had a positive effect as her following shot up X10, entering the hundreds of thousands.

Calista has been a victim of that in the past so this was nothing.
“Huh?” Calista muttered to herself because the next thing that was trending was pictures of her and Kyle entering the building with a caption.

Calista realized that this was moving a bit too quickly, the information was pouring out like it was some sort of controlled promotion campaign.
But then it happened, Kyle’s face was revealed coming out of the building with a caption.

Calista didn’t know if this was a good or bad thing but a smile crept up on her face as she realized that she had succeeded in her original plan.
Even if it wasn’t the way she wanted it to be.
But she decided to go through her message request to see if there was anyone of importance who messaged her but she got a surprise.
[[Do you know Kyle?]]
The message read and Calista was hesitant to open it because something told her she wouldn’t like what she saw.
But she couldn’t contain her curiosity and before she knew it, her fingers tapped It.
[[Do you know Kyle!? Please if you do, call XXX-XXX-XXX! IT IS URGENT!]]
The fact that this person knew Kyle by his name meant that they no doubt knew who he was.
She checked the username and it simply read, User1345810.
The account was created a couple of hours ago, Calista knew it was for this purpose, it was to contact her.
She knew that Kyle was nearly killed but she didn’t know about the relationships he shared with the attacker.
But because of that event, she wasn’t going to tell this ghost any information regarding him.
However, there was no harm in informing Kyle about this, if anything she knew Kyle would want to know.
Calista looked at the time but decided to take a gamble.
The worst that could happen at that moment was him not picking up the phone either way, there was nothing to lose.
Calista called him, the phone rang exactly seven times before it was kicked.
“Hey babe…” Calista began the conversation.
[[Um… I’m sorry but Kyle is asleep…]] Jane responded but the confusion in her voice was clear.
Calista’s heart sank not because a woman picked but because it was the same woman, that same damn voice.
Why the hell did she have access to Kyle’s phone?
Calista had to remain cool because if this was truly his girlfriend then the last thing she needed was her becoming suspicious.
It would also mean that Kyle was cheating on Jane as well with her.
[[Oh wait…]] Jane responded but what happened next was something that Calista would have never predicted.
It was put on speaker and she could hear Kyle’s voice at the other end.
Whoever this lady was, Kyle was secure enough for her to listen in on their private conversation.
It took everything in Calista not to reveal the nature of their relationship but her ego was satisfied because it was clear that Kyle’s needs weren’t being met if he was cheating with her.
Little did she know, Jane was a lady who shared a similar fate with her.
Jane never directly asked him the question because she was scared of the answer she would receive.
[[Why are you calling me this?]] Kyle asked but the tone he used, Calista could tell he was barely awake.
“This was a mistake…” Calista thought to herself before pretending like the signal was breaking and eventually ending the call.
She couldn’t understand why but had no regret because this would no doubt cause some tension in Kyle’s relationship with that woman.

The call came to an end and just like Calista assumed, Jane wanted to know who she was even though she didn’t know how to compose her words.
She knew it was the same woman that had called him earlier. Kyle noticed her discomfort and knew he had to find a way to ease her worry.
“You’re wondering who she is to me, aren’t you?” Kyle questioned and Jane was too scared to look him in the eyes because deep within her, she knew the answer.
“Y-You don’t have to tell me,” Jane chose blissful ignorance because if it was as she thought, she could no longer live in the fantasy she had conjured up.
“Are you sure?” Kyle questioned; the fact that he was calm and not bothered by the situation.
That was clear because he allowed Jane to pick up his phone.
If he was trying to keep his life separate, he wouldn’t have done this but this meant that Kyle was slowly easing everyone in.
Calista and Cassandra knew where they stood but now, he had planted the idea in Jane’s head without directly talking to her about it.
“Do you want to know something?” Kyle asked her and Jane was trying her best to hide the shift in her mood.
“W-What?” Jane responded, her voice shaky.
“I think I’m in love with you, Jane,” Kyle said and Jane’s mind went blank at that moment.
Every worry she had a moment ago disappeared instantly and she realized at that moment, nothing would change even if Kyle was screwing other people.
It was too late for her, she couldn’t do without him and he had just shown her that he too, couldn’t do without her.
