Feng Wu gave Feng Xun an indecipherable look.
Taking that drawing, Mayor Bi examined it for a moment and said after some consideration, “I see that… she’s not very good-looking.”
Feng Xun smirked. “Not only is she ugly on the outside, she’s repulsive on the inside as well! I’m going to chop her to pieces when I catch her!”
Picking up a random stone, Feng Xun tightened his grip, and the stone was pulverized.
Seeing the crumbs drop from between Feng Xun’s fingers, Feng Wu’s heart lurched.
Carefully rolling up the paper, Mayor Bi put it away in his sleeve, then cupped his fists at Feng Xun. “Young Lord, rest assured that I will find this girl ASAP and bring her to justice.”
Feng Xun nodded.
“It’s just that…” After some hesitation, Mayor Bi decided to ask a question. “I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit about this young woman’s crime and maybe her name? It would make my job so much easier.”
Feng Xun gritted his teeth. “Her name? Huh!”
Feng Wu’s stomach lurched!

She hadn’t given it much thought when she met Feng Xun and gave him the first name that came to mind: Feng Xiaowu.
Feng Xiaowu and Feng Wu… The two names were so close that with a little imagination, Feng Xun would probably make the connection… no, that was not good… not good at all…

Anxiety ate at her.

He went on with a smirk on his face. “She stole something very important from us; she’s just a despicable thief! Keep this in mind: we want her alive. I’ll skin her myself. She’ll wish she was dead!”
Seeing the serious look on Feng Xun’s face, Feng Wu quietly took a step away from him…
Mayor Bi couldn’t help but give Jun Linyuan a glance, then gave Feng Xun a wry smile. “I’m afraid it won’t be that easy, Young Lord. Mayor Bi’s words gave Feng Xun a very conflicted feeling.
How was Feng Xun supposed to tell the mayor that the thief who stole the fruit… was an ordinary girl without talent who had no cultivation whatsoever? How could he bring himself to say it?!
