The Buddha Lord’s Primordial Spirit was torn apart, its aura withering, its whole body’s Buddhalight Divine Flame incomplete and flickering, as if it could extinguish at any moment.
“I will wait for you in the Mo River, to see you eternally sink!!”
The Buddha Lord let out a roar, but his Primordial Spirit was completely shredded by Li Hao, pieces scattering like stars, dissipating between heaven and earth.
And those scattered Sun Essences were quickly absorbed by Li Hao’s Primordial Spirit, swallowed into his body, transforming into blossoms of golden flames appearing on the Primordial Spirit, adding much might to it.
The aura of the Buddha Lord completely dissipated. This top contender, who had been venerated in Dayu for over two thousand years with followers throughout the Nineteen Provinces, fell before the threshold of becoming a Saint and at the feet of Li Hao.
Under the overlay of the Fifteen-layer Dao Domain, Li Hao perceived, at the moment the Buddha Lord’s Primordial Spirit dissipated, a faint residue of soul accompanying it.
Rather than dispersion, it seemed more like it sank into a deeper layer of space that was invisible to him.
If it weren’t for the overlay of the Fifteen-layer Dao Domain, which brought his Perceptive Power to its peak, even that faint residue of soul would’ve been impossible to capture.
“Has it sunk into the Mo River…”
Li Hao’s eyes flickered. If the Divine Soul is the assembly of the Three Souls and Seven Spirits, then the demise of the Divine Soul means the demise of the Three Souls and Seven Spirits.
The Three Souls and Seven Spirits, in the Mortal Realm, are also called ghosts.
Humans die and become ghosts; ghosts die and become ‘jian,’ which are the remnants in the Mo River.
Mortals can’t see ghosts, just as Martial Artists have a hard time seeing ‘jian,’ unless they are in the Mo River, where the special environment allows a clear view.
Also, because they can’t be seen, when Martial Artists exterminate someone, they can at most kill their Divine Soul, but can’t kill the ‘jian’ that comes after the death of the Divine Soul, thereby allowing the possibility of reincarnation in the next life.
This seems to be a form of compassion from the heavens.
That is, “Heaven has virtue in cherishing life.”
“If I layered more Dao Domains, maybe I could perceive that ‘jian’…”

Li Hao’s eyes flickered. Regardless, in this Mortal World, the Buddha Lord was truly dead.
He glanced at the blurred flesh and blood on the ground. If he had reached the Three Immortal Extreme Realms, then he wouldn’t have died, but unfortunately, he had only cultivated the first four Extreme Realms.

“One foolish enough to attempt becoming a Saint in one step, and nearly succeeding…” Li Hao’s eyes flickered. Despite being much older than him, this Buddha Lord was indeed a talent with such grand ambitions.
The relic contained an extremely intense power, seemingly equivalent to a Divine Pill.

Jiang Lichen saw Li Hao transferring the aura of Life-Defying Power into Feng Boping and his excited expression immediately turned to astonishment, as he shouted in bewilderment.
Li Hao didn’t speak, he only focused on the transference. Soon, this breath of Life-Defying Power was sent into Feng’s body, and as it entered, Li Hao activated it for him.
The Life-Defying Power dispersed and vanished into an obscure place beyond sight.
Quickly, Feng’s body seemed to undergo a change.
On the battlefield where Li Hao had previously fought and slain with the Buddha Lord, those scattered powers seemed to be drawn, converging towards the damaged Spirit Mountain.
But these breaths were not gathering towards Feng but towards the torn Buddhist Hall.
Li Hao concentrated his gaze. His consciousness enveloped the area, and soon amongst these converging breaths, beneath the broken purple-gold Lotus Platform, he unearthed a profound wooden box.
Li Hao drew it towards himself, opened the wooden box, and inside saw three rounded golden pills, as perfect as a relic.
A feeling of a great fortune filling his soul rushed through his mind, and Li Hao paused before realizing that this was a Heavenly mandate response driven by the power of Life-Defying Power; these pills in the box could recover Feng’s health.
