As she had been experiencing the cleanse previously, she hadn’t had the time to think too much. But after some pondering, she was shocked by Lin Yuan’s strength.
In the Mother of Bloodbath’s opinion, even if Lin Yuan was the Moon Empress’ disciple, it was still too shocking for him to possess such strength at this young age.
It was why the Mother of Bloodbath recommended Lin Yuan to train in a controlled Class 3 dimensional rift.
Seated on the back of the Gold Broad-Winged Ashy Woodswallow, Lin Yuan welcomed the morning autumn breeze and closed his eyes to rest.
The Gold Broad-Winged Ashy Woodswallow had a speed that was easily ranked top three among the Gold flying feys that could be ordered in the Royal Capital. Its speed might not be comparable with the Platinum Divine Travel Black Swallow, but the comfort level was much better and still had speed. At least, when Lin Yuan sat on the Broad-Winged Ashy Woodswallow, he wouldn’t have to endure the pain on his buttocks.
The controlled Class 3 abyss dimensional rift wasn’t considered far from the Royal Capital. The Broad-Winged Ashy Woodswallow flew for around two to three hours before reaching the place.
When Lin Yuan alighted the Broad-Winged Ashy Woodswallow and looked at the Class 3 abyss dimensional rift entrance, he couldn’t help lamenting. There were plenty of stalls and vendors at the entrance area of the dimensional rift. Most of them were selling daily supplies.
It was a scene that made Lin Yuan involuntarily recall Millstone Town. However, Millstone Town had already experienced close to 100 years of history and had already settled down into a place where plenty of spirit qi professionals called home for the generation.
The market in front of the Class 3 dimensional rift might look similar to Millstone Town, but it wasn’t possible to maintain a long business in front of this controlled Class 3 abyss dimensional rift.
After every decade or so, the dimensional rifts would enter the active period.
Once the active period started, many other dimensional rifts would start to appear throughout the Radiance Federation during the year. It was fine during the first half of the year as there were relatively fewer dimensional rifts opening. However, during the second half of the year, the dimensional rift openings’ frequency would increase constantly.
In the Radiance Federation’s history, during the dimensional rifts’ active period, a Class 4 dimensional rift had opened once. The Class 6 dimensional lifeforms inside the Class 4 dimensional rifts had strength that was comparable to Suzerain feys.
Once the dimensional rifts’ active period was approaching, the Radiance Federation would enter a war preparation state.
This year would be filled with danger and opportunities.
The active period of the dimensional rifts would always contribute huge quantities of source-type items.
During the active period, controlled Class 3 dimensional rifts would have their final source-type item taken out before getting destroyed. Otherwise, the controlled Class 3 dimensional rift might just transform into a Class 4 dimensional rift when it was the active period. By then, it would be a disaster.
For such controlled Class 3 dimensional rifts, they were all established by the Guild Alliance’s branches. Spirit qi professionals could set up their teams here and obtain gathering missions that were related to the abyss dimensional rift.
The abyss dimensional rift wasn’t really a place that would produce valuable spiritual ingredients. Even if there were any, it would be those fire-attribute spiritual ingredients. However, inside the abyss dimensional rifts, there were special flames.
The special flames were truly mystical, and as long as they were injected into the spirit qi, they would constantly burn. Such flames were rather useful to some of the lifestyle-class spirit qi professionals.

The Source Sand’s ability to create sand was its own ability and didn’t need Lin Yuan to use any spiritual power to control it. Therefore, Lin Yuan simply allowed the Gold I/Fantasy I Source Sand to create sand freely in the direction he was going to travel.
All of a sudden, Lin Yuan felt someone lightly tugging on his sleeve. He turned around to see a young girl that was even younger than Chu Ci.
However, this young girl’s face was reddish, and she had small freckles. Her face had this innocent smile that could influence others, while her big round eyes were just like glistening black grapes.
The young girl saw that Lin Yuan was looking at her, so she handed over an icy-blue grass and said, “Big Brother, you like Big Brother Black too, right? Little Zao likes him too. This Ice Mist Grass is for Big Brother. I hope that those demon baddies will not bully Big Brother.”
Lin Yuan crouched down when he saw the girl handing over an Ice Mist Grass to him. He touched the ahoge[1] on the young girl’s head and asked, “Little Zao, why are you giving Big Brother an Ice Mist Grass?”
When Lin Yuan saw the ahoge on the young girl’s head, he couldn’t help thinking about Chu Ci as her head would always have an ahoge too.
Looking at this young girl’s reddish skin, Lin Yuan knew that this young girl must have been living within the controlled Class 3 abyss dimensional rift for a substantial period. The skin’s redness could only be possible after being exposed to the heat in this environment for a long period.
The Ice Mist Grass was a very common fey in the outside world, and the price would be around 100 Federation dollars. The only effect it could provide was to release some icy mist to lower the surrounding environment’s temperature.
