After having lunch with his parents.
Michael took a short bath, changed clothes and left his apartment. He then went to the gym run by his parents and met Dylan there already working out.
And there are also ten others like them inside the gym doing their own routine.
"You already started without me, huh?" Michael said to Dylan, who is currently bench pressing.
"9"
"10!"
Dylan put the barbell back, then answered Michael, "Yup, got too excited as its been a long time since I went into a gym, and you're paying right?"
"Fine fine, I heard from your sister that you've already quit your job?" Michael said as he started stretching.
"Yeah, I sold two items yesterday, which was equivalent to three weeks of pay when I was still working on those two jobs" Dylan said with a smile on his face.
"What? Isn't that too impractical? You don't even know if you're able to find business inside the game, but you just left without even thinking about it?" Michael stopped stretching and glared at Dylan.
"Come on bro, I'm not that dumb" Dylan chuckled, as he knew what Michael is worried about.
"I actually got into a guild called War Angel and took me in, so going into team hunts wouldn't be a problem from now on" Dylan laughed heartily while lifting a dumbbell.
"War Angel? Are you saying that you joined War Angel?" Michael raised an eyebrow, feeling a bit suspicious, but at the same time, he felt that it was a bit understandable as he knew that Dylan also made a name for himself in the game during his original timeline, even though it was only for a short time before he departed from the world.
"Who invited you to join them?" Michael said, while playing with the battle ropes.
"Someone called Darkbrew, an Inner Member and a leader of a reserve team in the guild, so yeah. I'm still a reserve member and I could get kicked out anytime if my performance isn't satisfactory, but I could at least go to a dungeon with an experienced team"
"But how much did you sell your items for then?"
"Almost a $1000, over $300 for a Barbarian Hammer and $700 for a Priest Holy Book" Dylan smiled ear to ear, as he had never earned that much money in a short time before.
Michael and Dylan started talking about the game, and Michael learned that Dylan had already reached Level 9 and by the time they get inside the game again, the barrier from the beginner zones would have then disappeared.
"Hey, you're that guy who had beaten Kevin and his gang before"
Someone suddenly approached Michael when he was shadow boxing with a dumbbell in both hands, with shin weights with iron inside on both of his legs, with a load of fifteen kilograms in total.
But Michael just continued shadow boxing as he just gave a nod towards the guy who was trying to strike a conversation between.
The dirty blonde haired didn't mind it, and he sat down on a nearby equipment and watched Michael and then said, "It seems you didn't know that you have already become famous around the city, especially when the news of you saving Miss Jenny of War Angel from Black Skulls before"
Michael wasn't dumb, he already knew about it, especially when almost of the gym goers here would glance at him from time to time, even he was'nt spared while walking in the streets as those people in the underground world would sometimes distance themselves from him like he was some kind of a plague.
Michael wasn't even bothered by it, but in fact, he was happy about it as no one would try to pick a fight with him, and the thing that really made them fear him is that there are still no one from Black Skulls that made a move on him, which truly bewildered them as they knew that they are like wild dogs in the wild who would immediately flock someone when provoked.
Actually, they don't know that there is actually a dark hand working in the dark, and that even Michael didn't know about it, as he even just assumed that they didn't have time to deal with him, and that must have been the reason why no one is trying to make some troubles with him.
"What do you want and who are you?" Michael said as he put down the dumbbell on the ground, it was because he felt like that this guy has motives in coming to talk to him, and Dylan on the other hand immediately stood behind the man when he felt the atmosphere wasn't right, worried that Michael would get a beat down because he knows that Michael can't fight.
But what he didn't know is that Michael could now fight, and could even beat him in a fight.
"Chill bro, I didn't come here to pick up a fight" the man raised his hands and said helplessly.
But Michael isn't buying it as he could in the man's eyes that he's not afraid of them, and instead, he could see a dangerous glint in the man's eyes.
All eyes inside the gym immediately turned towards them as they stopped working out and started watching what would happen between them.
"I'm Marco, a member of War Angel, and I'm here to invite you into our organization" Marco said as he offered his right hand towards Michael for a handshake.
Michael raised an eyebrow and shook his hand, and when Marco thought that Michael might be interested in joining them.
"Sorry, but I don't plan on joining you guys, and thanks for the offer though"
Michael immediately replied the moment he shook Marco's hand.
"What? Why not?"
Marco's smile suddenly turned rigid the moment he heard Michael.
"Just...not interested"
Michael smiled at him and once again continued shadowing with a dumbbell in his hands, and ignored the dumbfounded Marco, while Dylan just chuckled and went back to training his body, while those onlookers were actually not expecting for Michael to decline the invitation of a powerful organization, because if they were the one that was invited then would immediately agree as the organization is a huge umbrella of protection where they wouldn't worry about harassment from small time gangs anymore.
