'This little bastard is taking advantage of me' Viper scoffed when he and Michael's eyes met.
'Hehe, show them how to do it. If you lose, then it would be a disgrace in front of your woman, so you can only win, kekeke' Michael laughed inside, as he can't miss the chance to make easy money, especially that the betting odds are against Viper.
'Little bastard' Viper was suddenly irked when he saw the look in Michael's eyes, because he already figured out what Michael is trying to tell him from his eyes.
Meanwhile, Amanda is looking at Michael with a weird look on her face, while thinking about what had happened earlier and wondered what happened to the man that Michael's was fighting before.
"Randy this-"
"Don't worry, stand back and let me teach them a lesson on what happens when they don't stop bothering you. I'll be done with them in a jiffy"
Olivia was about to say something when Viper suddenly cut her off.
"Bastard! Brothers, together!"
When they saw how much they were looked down upon, all four men were livid in anger and that they immediately pounced on Viper at the same time.
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
"Oh my god! What the freak just happened!?" Harrison yelled in horror when he saw four a.d.u.l.t men getting knocked out on the ground in the blink of an eye.
Beating up five men is already considered amazing, but knocking out four men at the same time in the blink of an eye is even more amazing!
Harrison also had his own fair share of gang wars that he had participated in outside of the city, but he had never seen someone as fast as Viper on taking out his opponents that they weren't even able to react in time to defend themselves at all.
Utter silence!
The crowd just stared at the scene with mouth's agape as they didn't expect that everything would be over in the blink of an eye, and the only thing they could hear is the music around them and the sound of police sirens getting nearer.
"UOHHH!"
Moments later, the crowd suddenly started yelling and shouting in amazement that even the old people can't help but feel their blood boiling in excitement from what they had just witnessed, and even some of the younger men immediately made their way towards Viper and surrounded him, while there were even some who took the liberty to give a few kicks to the unconscious men lying on the ground.
"I won the bet! Hahaha!"
Meanwhile, Dylan was laughing in glee, while those people who finally remembered that they had just lost a thousand bucks were suddenly wearing looks of gloominess compare to their excited faces earlier.
"Goddammit! How!? Is he a retired special forces soldier or something!?" Rick started yelling in anger while pulling on his hair.
"Yes, he was" Michael suddenly answered Rick's question, which shocked the people around him.

Even Jenny was amazed when she heard that. After all, the special forces are one of the top dogs in the country, and they are considered the elites of the elites among the soldiers in the entire Northern Rica Principality.
Randy Woods, before his life as an assassin, he was the youngest soldier to ever join the special forces in the army at the age of twenty one. He married his ex wife at the age of twenty five, and due to his type of work, his ex wife had cheated on him on multiple occasions. Where he had slowly learned that his ex wife had a history as a whore.
After their divorce, he devoted everything to his line of work and had many successful achievements during his tenure, and in just three years he became the youngest and most decorated soldier in the history of the country, before suddenly retiring from out of nowhere when he was just at the peak of his career.
Due to unfortunate circ.u.mstances, he became a soldier turned assassin. He joined a small group of assassins, and in just a few short months from being an assassin, he joined the largest hitman organization "The Continental" and racked up multiple achievements in a few short years and became the youngest Two Blades assassin at the age of thirty two, where Michael only became one at the age of thirty three.
He was one of the most promising assassins or hitman to reach the rank of One Blade or even Zeroth, but then he just suddenly retired from out of nowhere, and the excuse he gave to the organization was that he was already bored of his job and wants to now only spend his life quietly.
So in actual fact, Viper retired as a Two Blades, but his skills are just as good as someone at the rank of One Blade.
Michael just nodded at Jenny's question.
"Holy shit, is that true?"
"So our neighbor Mr. Randy is actually a retired soldier, that suddenly makes me relieve for some reason"
"Yeah me too, having a retired soldier as a neighbor is great"
Michael suddenly turned his head towards Amanda who was still looking at him with a weird face as he smiled at her, and where the latter immediately turned her head away.
'Could she be the one who saw that earlier? She's been looking at me weirdly with that weird look on her face ever since I got here'
'Pity that it was too dark at balcony earlier so I didn't see who it was'

Then after that, the police came and took the five troublemakers away. They didn't even made it difficult for Viper when Olivia spoke up for him.
After all, the woman is still someone with prestige even though most of her clients are the sc.u.m of society.
After that interesting small episode, the party would have normally been over by now, but this one still continued on throughout the night before everybody slowly went home.
Viper became popular and at the same time feared, the people around his age or older fear him while having a newfound respect towards him, while the youngsters became one whom you would call as fanboys as they literally flocked around him after that incident wanting to be close to him.
And weirdly enough during the party, Amanda suddenly had a little bit of interest towards Michael after what she had witnessed.
But what she didn't know that her sudden interest towards Michael because of what she had witnessed would lead to something more in the future days to come.
This time, events that would entangle both of their fates had just begun, as a dark storm is starting to brew in the distance, with the two of them at the center of it.

"You're not running away anymore?" Michael coldly looked at the man leaning against a tree while sitting on the ground covered in his own blood.
"Before you kill me, just...who are you?" the man laughed bitterly to himself, as he already accepted his fate that he would die tonight.
"Shadow from The Continental, remember them on your way to hell" Michael said coldly, as a light flashed before him, and the head of the man sitting on the ground fell and rolled on the ground.
Before the man died, the last thought that came to his mind was.
