Michael started grinding levels and at the same time on the move to finish a quest he got from the Quest Board, a [Goblin Extermination Quest] to kill 100 Green Goblins.
Michael is hiding behind a tree] while watching the two [Green Goblins] just standing there in a clearing just beside a small stream, looking at their surroundings, and there's at least a ten meter distance between them.
"Fighting two [Green Goblins] at the same time is still troublesome for me, especially with the gap in levels and equipment" Michael muttered as he watched them from a distance.
So Michael picked up a nearby fist size rock and threw it on a nearby bush just two meters on the right of one of the [Green Goblins].
Rustle~
"Kriek?" attracted by the sound of something rustling near it, the [Green Goblin] slowly walked towards the bush and started to curiously look around, then Michael picked up another rock and threw it a bit further away to lure it away from the other [Green Goblin] who's oblivious to the things happening.
Seeing that the other goblin had been lured away and that it even started walking away opposite of them.
BAM!
Michael finally made his move and immediately burst towards the [Green Goblin]!
After all, his stealth would be useless with their current level difference even if he uses it.
"Skrie!" the [Green Goblin] immediately noticed him when Michael just passed the seven meter marked distance between them! He was only a short three meters away before he could've slash its throat!
Sadly, the one he's trying to kill wasn't a normal goblin but an elite goblin, and he plans to solo it by himself!
Talk about confidence!

The Elite Goblin slashed its shortsword towards Michael's face.
As the shortsword was about to slash his face, Michael suddenly buckled his legs, and with his nose just barely dodging the attack, he slid forward on grassy ground towards the Elite Goblin on his lower leg as his eyes flashing with a cold light.
Michael braced his hands on the ground in a handstand as he flipped his body sideways, then launched himself up in the air. He struck the Elite Green Goblin's jaws with a powerful sweeping kick.
Bang! [ -31! ]
The Elite Goblin was sent reeling back!
Michael didn't waste the opportunity as he burst forward and stabbed his dagger on Elite Goblin's chest with a [Vital Strike].
[ Critical Hit! -77! ]
But Michael wasn't done, as he immediately pulled back his dagger and slashed the Elite Goblin's throat, along with [Bleed]!
[ Critical Hit! -95! ] [ -5! ] [ -5! ] [ -5! ]
Michael immediately retreated backwards as the Elite Goblin suddenly counter attacked him with a forceful slash towards him, while suffering from a bleeding debuff, suffering minus five bleeding damage for each passing second for a good fifteen seconds!
But it wouldn't be labeled as an Elite at all, if it actually allows Michael to steady his footing!
So the Elite Goblin immediately dashed towards him, this time more angered at getting sneaked attacked!
Its shortsword suddenly glowed softly as it's activated its skill!
'Crap!' Michael cursed, as he was still flying backwards above ground from dodging its earlier attack!
So he just prepared his weapon in front of him as he planned to parry it.
"What!?"
Suddenly, something happened beyond his expectations, as the hand of the Elite Goblin holding its shortsword suddenly turned into blur along with its weapon!
But he didn't panic, because this time, his feet finally landed back on the ground!
But his joy was short lived as the blade of the goblin's shortsword finally appeared two inches away from his face!
His eyes immediately narrowed as he screamed in his mind, 'Come on!'
He screamed inside as he forcefully pulled his right hand that's holding his dagger upwards, and in the nick of time, managed to block it!
Clang!
The attack sent Michael staggering backwards, but the Elite Goblin isn't finished yet as it closed in again at Michael and slashed its shortsword towards his chest!
'Shit!' Michael cursed when he saw the attack coming as he knows that he wouldn't be able to block or even dodge it this time!
[ -125! ]
A frightening damage floated above Michael's head, almost depleting a fourth of his health!
But the Elite Goblin's not done yet! After all, it's skill wouldn't be called a [Triple Slash] if it didn't have a third slash, right!?
[ Critical Hit -233! ]
"Damn!" Michael cursed as he retreated backwards before his back bumped into a tree, while the Elite Goblin stopped in its place while glaring at Michael, as it started to breath heavily.
[ +150! ]
Michael immediately pulled one of his potions and drank it, restoring some of his health back to 508 HP from a 358 HP.
"I'd die if he uses it another time" Michael muttered as both sides went into a glaring showdown, but the goblin is still steadily losing health from the bleeding damage.
After all, everything from the start of the Elite Goblin's [Triple Slash] only happened in the span of five seconds, and there is still five seconds more before its [Bleeding] status wears off.
"Hahaha!" Michael suddenly started laughing to himself while maintaining eye contact at the Elite Goblin.
"This is great! This is like back then when I was still an Assassin who was wet behind his ears!" Michael laughed as he remembered a memory from back then, when he and Amanda were still running away for their lives!
"I hope you don't disappoint me, Mr. Goblin!" Michael grinned widely as he suddenly burst forward, and halfway towards the Elite Goblin. He suddenly disappeared as he slowly turned into a blur, and at the same time, Michael heard the jiggling sound of the bell when that happened.
"This game is awesome" were the first sentence that came out of his mouth when he suddenly appeared behind the Elite Goblin, before he executed a [Backstab].
And the confused Elite Goblin belatedly realized that his enemy suddenly appeared behind him, but this realization was already too late as the Elite Goblin got stabbed on its back.
Michael sent another flurry of regular attacks before retreating backwards.
"Skriee!" the Elite Goblin screeched in anger as it turned around and started attacking Michael.
A few minutes later.
*Thud!*
The Elite Goblin finally fell as its body burst into loot, and his quest was finally completed.
[ The [Goblin Extermination Quest] has been completed!]
Michael ignored it and went over and picked up the loot from the Elite Goblin and he got 1 Gold Coin, 3 Silvers and 73 Copper Coins, along with a string necklace decorated from what looked like fangs of some beast, a Mid Level Health Potion, a curved dagger made from a bone and it seems Michael's luck is truly soaring towards the skies as he had gotten another Skill Scroll, but sadly for him.
It was a skill meant for Hunters!
Michael just threw all of it inside his [Inventory] and went to check at what caused him to instantly appear behind the Elite Goblin earlier.
"Holy!" Michael was startled when he saw it, so he immediately clicked it and something appeared in front of him.
[Level 1 - Shadow Blur]
Description: A skill similar to a Wizard's Teleportation, a unique skill created by an Assassin named Shadow.
Properties: Instantly appears in any location 15 meters from the user's original location.
Mana usage: 30 Mana
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Restrictions: Usable only to Shadow.
Note: Every level up adds another one meter on the distance the user can traverse.
"Holy shit, why do I suddenly feel like the game actually likes me by giving me these things?" Michael chuckled.
