“It’s something made from rice flour that looks like noodles.” Xue Sifu laughed.
“Really?” The young man didn’t believe him. “I’ve never heard of rice flour being stretched into strips to become noodles.”
Xue Sifu only laughed. When the stove, firewood, and wicker basket were all set up, all that was left was to set up the table. Jiang Yue and Xue Yan helped Xue Sifu set up the table, which made the people in the cold and quiet stalls nearby click their tongues in wonder.
“That table of yours…”

Xue Sifu then said to Xue Yan and Jiang Yue, “You guys stay here and look after the stall. I’ll send the ox cart to its spot. We can’t leave the ox cart here.” He placed two water buckets and a shoulder pole on the ox cart as he spoke. “I’ll bring some water back. We can get water from there.”

Jiang Yue and Xue Yan looked at each other. Then, they turned around in unison and took out some dry rice noodles to place in front of the stall. Sellers shouldn’t hide their dishes, they should let people see them.
The young man at the stall next to him saw it first and immediately came over. He stared at the dry rice noodles on the table, his eyes shining. “This is the rice noodles?”
“Yes.” Xue Yan said.
“How did you do it? Why does it look like threads? And it’s dry…” the young man was inquisitive.
“It’s made of rice flour.”

Just as the young man opened his mouth to say these three words, the person at the stall diagonally opposite him laughed and said, “They’re just two little kids, how would they know so much? This person immediately spoke up when the two kids were being questioned.

I’m not asking you!” After scolding the man, the young man turned to Jiang Yue and Xue Yan with a smile, “Be good and tell me, do you know what to do?
