This was a topic Michael couldn’t say he knew much about, and even the Supers Association forum didn’t help much in the matter.
For one, it was said that races could influence one’s strength just like a class could.
This could be seen from the fact that races also provided attribute points, much like classes did.
And just as some classes granted more attribute points than others, certain races were also said to do the same because they were inherently stronger—or something along those lines.
Michael had known about races even before becoming an Awakener.
It wasn’t a widely discussed topic, but almost everyone knew that humans weren’t the only race in the universe.
Though Michael had yet to encounter a living being from another race, it didn’t change the fact that he knew they existed.
Now that he saw something related to it again, he calmed down.
“Evolved and advanced? The human race also has a higher form?”
This was Michael’s first time hearing such a thing.
As for the idea that a race could exist within a race, he didn’t find it strange.
Back on Earth, even though everyone was referred to as humans, different races and ethnic groups were still used to differentiate people.
High Humans and Humans seemed to follow a similar logic.
However, the current situation wasn’t just about classification—it seemed one race was truly superior to the other.
“It seems there’s still a lot I need to know about my talent.”
After calming down, Michael began thinking more clearly.
The race of his undead advancing to a superior form wasn’t a bad thing. It was essentially still evolution.
But what he truly wanted to know now was whether it was actually worth it.
After all, his undead wasn’t an Awakener.
There was no concept of attribute point bonuses for it, so he wondered—just how strong was a normal High Human?
The way to test this was simple. There were multiple methods.

It was said that in a stronger race, if one were to use the stats system, a single point in Strength for a weaker race might be equivalent to two points for a stronger race.
This was because the system judged stats based on one’s race rather than human standards.
Michael felt this made sense.
Imagine a dragon using human stats to measure its strength.
In that case, the system would be judging how strong it was among humans—not how powerful it was within its own race.
If this was truly how things worked, then the question of whether the human race was supreme would be a debate.
As several thoughts flashed through Michael’s mind, he began testing his newly evolved undead.
First, he wanted to start with mana.
Before evolving, the Undead Mage’s mana was even lower than Michael’s.
Recalling how its mana levels seemed to have increased significantly after evolving, Michael was curious to see just how much.
“Hey. Unleash all your mana.”
Michael commanded the Undead Human—no, the Undead High Human Mage.
The moment the Undead High Human Mage followed his command, an overwhelming surge of mana exploded into the surroundings.
Michael’s eyes widened as an almost insane amount of mana poured out, twisting the air around them.
For a brief moment, his heart shook.
Not only was it far greater than what Mage Lian had ever displayed, but it also surpassed his own mana reserves by an absurd degree.
A deep frown formed on his face.
There was only one creature he could immediately think of that had ever released this much mana—even while being at the same level.
Lucky.
But Lucky was an Extraordinary Rank creature.
Did this mean that the High Human race was naturally comparable to an Extraordinary Rank being?
Or at the very least… not far off?
Michael’s breathing slowed as he processed the implications.
“No wonder it cost so much to evolve them…”
For an undead at this level to have this much mana, the race itself had to be on a completely different level.
“I wonder how strong my undead is compared to Rank 3… no, Rank 4 cultivators in the real world.”
Just based on mana levels alone, Michael was absolutely confident that it wasn’t something a Rank 3 cultivator could compare to.
Even when the Undead Mage was alive, at the peak of Rank 3, its mana reserves were nowhere near what it was capable of now.
The difference was immense.
However, more mana didn’t necessarily mean more strength.

Michael couldn’t help but smile at the thought.
The idea of having another creature close to advancing to Rank 2 was genuinely exciting.
However, when he checked the Undead Mage’s skill set, it was still the same as before.
For this, Michael felt a bit conflicted.
But then, he recalled something—
The higher the purity of mana, the amount pushed into a spell, and the level of the spell model, the stronger the spell became.
With this in mind, he was still expectant about the combat prowess of the Undead High Human Mage.
And to test its true combat level, there was no better way than actual battle.
For this, Michael already had something in mind.
Prince.
Back when Prince was still alive, he had been significantly stronger than his opponents.
Facing him again would make for a proper challenge.
As for using Lucky?
Though the High Human race seemed impressive, Michael felt that would still be overkill.
