The scene changed again, revealing a different memory. Now, it showed a small garden.
Meng Tai and Feng Ling hid behind a rock, seeking a fresh stimulus and excitement.

Meng Tai saw Feng Ling’s entire body turning purple in the small courtyard as she lay limp. Beside her, Yue Yao clutched a dagger, holding it to Feng Ling’s neck and looking anxiously at Meng Tai.
“Yue Yao, what are you doing? Let go of Feng Ling!” Meng Tai roared as his expression suddenly changed.
“First Senior Brother, don’t come over!” Yue Yao said anxiously.
“Yue Yao, let go of Feng Ling!” Meng Tai stared at this scene in horror.
“Husband, hurry! Hurry! The messenger crane already left, carrying information of the dragon vein. Quick, go after the messenger crane!” the weakened Feng Ling pointed at the sky.
Meng Tai looked over and saw an immortal crane with a scroll in its beak flying in the sky.
“The information leaked?” Meng Tai’s expression changed; he wanted to give chase.
“First Senior Brother, don’t move. If you give chase, I…I…I will kill Elder Sister Feng Ling!” Yue Yao shouted while trembling.
“Yue Yao, what are you doing? Are you crazy?” Meng Tai shouted.
