Although Hades had always been seen as a lonely man, he was in fact always in good company. His Undead Gods were nice and understanding, and his family was very nice to him. Unlike other Gods that have difficulties with their families or that might even be hated by their children, such as his brother Zeus, Hades was someone that raised his children with care alongside his wife, making sure they would grow up as good people that wouldn't be overly spoiled, and that knew of their position in the Realm, and also that had common sense.
Zeus, his brother, in comparison, didn't even raise any of his kids, giving little care to most of them when they were born, and leaving his wife or their mothers to take care of them instead, neglecting his duty as a father and preferring to have fun with other women or hunting evil gods to grow strong, terrorizing a large part of the Realm of Vida that way… Well, when the Realm of Vida existed, as it is now long gone, alongside Zeus.
Although Hades knows that Zeus' children are now alive as Gods that serve Kireina somehow, Zeus was long gone, Kireina refused to revive him through her strange and bizarre powers and left him dead for good.
Hades couldn't really say he felt bad for that, he had been very detached with his youngest brother, and after knowing of the many bad things he had done, he only felt embarrassment for being affiliated with such a man. Zeus never tried to contact him after the Ragnarök either, or through so many years of separation, the two became so distant they might as well be strangers.
It wasn't the same with Poseidon, however, as both siblings kept close contact with one another, sometimes inviting the other to their Realms every few years. Their families knew each other quite well, and the children were friends with one another too.
"Poseidon… I wonder where you are now, brother?"
Although he didn't even care when Zeus died, if he allowed himself to be honest, Poseidon's disappearance worried him a lot, as his entire Realm was sucked into a Spiritual Hole that appeared out of nowhere, and since then, he had not known a single thing about him.
The worse could've been that he died and so the rest of his family and the Realm was harvested by powerful spiritual beings… But there was some hope that perhaps he survived, and maybe he even joined Kireina, if she was benevolent enough.
"I unfortunately can't do anything for you right now… We are so far away now; I truly regret it…"
As Hades finished the formation, he thought about many things, his brother came into mind, he missed Poseidon and his smile and the feast of seafood he always had ready when he went to visit his Realm with his family.
"I pray to higher powers in the cosmos that you'll be alright, my dear young brother."
As he closed his eyes for a moment and then resumed his work, he waved his hands, as divine runes expanded and rapidly spread everywhere, placing themselves above a large circle.
FLAAASH!
And the entire Divine Formation was ready, Hades stepped forward into the center, where Hanshuan slowly carried his sister there.
"Here she is…" He said, placing her over the floor, looking at her with pity. "I hope this works…"
"It will," Hades said. "Hanshuan, have you reconsidered your decision? To give away your Living State to her… I offered you this chance to do it but… It doesn't truly mean you must do it."
"…It's fine, lord Hades," he said. "I know what I am doing… I would be sad yes… But I would be much sadder if I saw my sister being an undead and suffering its consequences."
"…I see," Hades nodded. "Stay in the center with your sister then."
"Her soul… I was unable to bring it with me…" Hanshuan said. "What if she's…"
"I have already sensed it once I touched her corpse, her Soul is already in Tartarus, no demon managed to eat her, fortunately," Hades said. "I wouldn't had even offered you this chance if I didn't know she was here."
"W-What a relief… Sister… you're coming back!" Hanshuan cried happily.
"…"
Hades walked away and then glanced at his daughters.
"Melinoe, Makaria, it is your turn now. Melinoe, stay in the rune shaped as a half moon and half sun. Makaria, stay in the rune shaped as the silhouette of a soul."
"Okay!"
"Sure."
As his daughters stood over their positions, Zagreus glanced at the scene, wondering if he was needed.
"Father, is my power needed?" He asked.
"You've certainly developed something new within you, I can feel it…" Said Hades. "But no, son, remain here and watch for now. Your help is not needed."
"Okay…" Zagreus nodded, as he looked at the scene with his friends. "I hope this works…"
"Hanshuan…" Glimmerdust sighed. "H-He's really doing it…"
"I suppose we couldn't convince him otherwise… We aren't close enough with him either, Glimmerdust… We did the best we could," Sindarin said.
"I-I guess…" Glimmerdust nodded, sighing. "I just hope he doesn't regret this one day."
"…" Zagreus remained in silence as the entire ritual began.
FLAAASH!
The massive ritual formation activated, the runes spun around, the nodes activated. The two Divinities of Zagreus' sister were infused into the formation like flames of divine power.
FLUOSH!
Centimeter after centimeter, the large formation quickly filled with their flowing divine energy, Hades infused his own as well, closing the deal and instantly kickstarting the entire process.
"{Divine Formation Arts}: {Revival Circle of Gods}"
Blue and white light encompassed Hanshuan as he closed his eyes, his sister's body was also encompassed by this light.
The wound in her body was healed rapidly, and something entered her body, making her gasp as she suddenly "woke up" from death.
At the same time as she woke up confused and dizzy, strangely cold, she saw her brother smiling at her caressing her.
"B-Brother? What… what happened? I…"
"Henshian, I'm so happy you're back."
Her brother hugged her, even as she felt cold, and shared her his warmth.
"B-Brother… D-Did… Did I die?"
"Yes… But don't worry… I will warm you up. I shall rekindle your heart with my fire."
FLAAASH!
And his sister felt the warmth encompassing her body.
The warm breath of life.
"B-Brother?!"
At the same time as she saw his brother become colder and paler.
