Chapter 1: Rebirth, A Second Chance

“Run, Spirit Masters are killing people!” “Wuwu, Mama, where are you?” “Little Bao, hide quickly!” Cries and screams filled the entire village, and blood covered the ground like a purgatory.
A short, stout man with some unease in his eyes turned his head and scanned around: “Boss, causing such a commotion here, will there be trouble?”
A gaunt, gloomy man dressed in black glanced back.
“The Spirit Hall enforcement team is chasing too closely. If we don’t recover our spirit power quickly, we’ll die by their hands sooner or later.”
Not far away, a woman in red dragged a man over with her Spirit, the Bloodthirsty Vine.
“Hehehe, Little Six, you’re too nervous. Do you want to grab a woman to let off some steam? Those mad dogs from Spirit Hall, we’ll make them die sooner or later!”

After a glance, the red-robed elder ignored their struggle and turned to walk into the now silent village.

This is my first novel. I’ve read too many novels, and suddenly I had the urge to write one, so I immediately put it into action. I hope for a good start.
