Shirley raised her arm and pointed towards the Celestial Descent Light Spirit Tribe.
The Celestial Descent Light Spirits instantly smiled. They spun around, releasing waves of light that encircled Shirley. It looked like they were dancing and warmly welcoming her. However, they were defending her from the Golden Jade Illumination Spirits that simultaneously attacked her.
Their bodies glowed with a golden light that shone red. They appeared to be sacrificing their spirit essence, launching an all-out attack.
Golden runes shaped like a jade talisman appeared in the air, etched with the mysteries of the Golden Jade Illumination Spirit. They contained a terrifying sharp force of Light Laws and Gold Laws. The heaven and earth rumbled, and Shirley felt a vague sense of unease.
She released the bottleneck she had in her prowess by another margin, and that feeling instantly faded.

The golden jade talismans abruptly shaped into a spear and pierced toward Shirley. The wall of celestial light around her pulsated, resonating with the surroundings. The moment those spears touched, the wall of light shattered.
Shirley spun, her sleeves spitting out phoenix flames. The golden spears looked as though they were going to pierce Shirley, but as they passed through the flames, nothing was left.
Kennent and Young Master Ragoon were shocked.
Right now, the Golden Jade Illumination Spirit's prowess was one level higher due to them sacrificing their spirit essence. All pure-blooded spirits were capable of raising their prowess by one level higher.
They had never thought fire phoenix flames would be so powerful, burning everything in its wake. Its destructive might had far surpassed golden crow flames. It was almost as powerful as a Seven-Colored Phoenix's flames. But considering it was emperor-tier phoenix flames, they were able to swallow it.
However, thinking that the golden spears had weakened due to the wall of celestial light, they didn't put much thought into it. They looked closely since they knew it wasn't over yet.
The Golden Jade Illumination Spirits weren't done with their attacks.
One of them still appeared to be summoning the greatest ability a spirit can unleash. It was similar to how magical beasts use species techniques. However, more than a technique, it was better categorized as a phenomenon.
When Eldia was a Purgatory Extinction Lightning Spirit, she could engulf a vast area of land and the skies in extinction lighting. Tesha, a Frigid World Ice Spirit, could also surround the space in an utterly freezing icy dome and trap anyone or hide inside nearly perpetually as long as the environment supports them.
Otherwise, they would eventually run out of energy and become exhausted.
In the same way, Shirley and the others knew what the Golden Jade Illumination Spirit was capable of.
The Golden Jade Illumination Spirit's golden eyes glowed with a crimson hue, intensifying and causing the light in the surroundings to bend. The skies dimmed as the weather changed. The air trembled with a heavy spiritual pressure.
The spirit raised its arm, and an intricate halo of runes burst above, each one shaped like jade talismans, engraved with golden and red script. These just didn't float. They anchored into the fabric of space, locking down the flow of light energy and gold energy.
Then, a massive circular sigil formed in the sky like an ancient sun disk, half-gold and half-red, spinning slowly.
Within this phenomenon, nearly everyone started feeling a dense mountainous pressure. Their flow of energy decreased drastically, and their dantians were nearly clogged, failing to unleash any energy. It was as though they were sealed.
The Celestial Descent Light Spirits shone brighter, forming a tight array around Shirley in response. Their wings fanned out like overlapping shields, but even they began to flicker, their energy getting distorted by the dominion of the opposing phenomenon.
Clearly, those who practiced light energy or gold energy were more constrained in this strange phenomenon.
"No need to panic."
Shirley softly uttered.
A chilling sensation enveloped everyone. When the spirits turned to look at her, they saw her disappear.
When she reappeared, that Golden Jade Illumination Spirit trembled ever so lightly before he shattered into motes of golden light.
Shirley didn't even bother using her flames. She clad her fist in ice and unleashed a punch at the Golden Jade Illumination Spirit.
"..." The supreme geniuses were shocked.
Light spirits possessed frail bodies and were fast, but the Golden Jade Illumination Spirit was a bit different. They were slower than most light spirits but incredibly durable. To break them, how can just a punch be enough?
With their leader dead, the Golden Jade Illumination Spirits felt like they were doused with a bucket of cold water. From determining to sacrifice their lives, they quickly lost. all sanity and fled in all directions, not even bothering to stay together. Abruptly, icicles stabbed into those light spirits, pinning them down to the ruins.
They all died in an instant.
When people turned to look, they saw an icy-blue-robed woman, a female magical beast who exuded the aura of Emperor-Tier. Instantly, it became clear that she was an Emperor-Tier Ice Phoenix.
Young Master Ragoon's heart sank.
For the first time, he was able to make the connection as he saw Shirley be able to use ice and fire. But as soon as he saw the Ice Phoenix, his suspicions were basically confirmed.
The woman in front of him was the third wife of the Divine Emperor of Death, the wanted inheritor of the Fire Phoenix Clan.
Kennent still had no clue. He was full of awe since this woman was capable of using ice and fire and, possibly, icefire itself.
"You're from another galaxy!?" He asked a totally different question, nearly causing Shirley to skip a step as she nearly faltered.
She turned to look at him, wondering if supreme geniuses forgot their brains back at home. But he didn't seem retarded since he kept an eye on the names of all the
supreme geniuses.
"Why do you think so?"
"There's a rumor that some have witnessed spirits and magical beasts from other galaxies having entered since no one could recognize them. However, who knows if that's true or not? Even now, many supreme geniuses who travel alone wear hoods to conceal their identities, so this is most likely false. Still, I have not heard of you from the Fire Phoenix Clan or the Ice Phoenix Clan. Are you from another galaxy or an unknown celestial body?"
"Of course not."
Shirley scoffed. However, she nodded her head since he seemed to have his reason for doubting.
She turned to look at the Celestial Descent Light Spirits.
She thought of gaining more information before choosing to spend or keep the light spirit essence, but she chose to gamble. It was one of the joys of adventuring, not knowing what awaited her next. She could probably suffer a loss, but she didn't care. As for why she chose the Celestial Descent Light Spirits, she was reminded of Lyra Celeste, one of the Celestial Fairies in the First Haven World. She was also a spirit fey who came from the Celestial Descent Light Spirit Tribe. On the account of a fellow beautiful fairy, she decided to chose this spirit tribe.
"Shall we go to your tribe's Treasury?" Shirley raised her brows.
She imagined that these spirits would have their own settlements if they could gather in groups like these.
"Ugh... crimson fairy, I nearly forgot that the messaging talisman I gave you is damaged. I apologize for my forgetful behavior. Can you please give it back or even discard it."
At this moment, Young Master Ragoon asked in a sheepish tone.
Shirley looked at him from the corner of her eyes, her lips curling. It seems like someone finally recognized her.
