"No." Davis shook his head, "I will always be respectful towards you. Your bloodline allowed Evelynn to become the best version of herself, full of confidence and pride, not to mention elegance, poise, beauty, and grace. In my opinion, the two of you are fated to be sworn sisters."
"…" Empress Hexena Xylusc couldn't help but smile as her cheeks turned rosy.
He was indirectly praising her.

Davis leaned back and shook his head smilingly. He heard Empress Hexena Xylusc died quite young, so she was probably younger than Evelynn currently. It turns out that it was true with how she reacted.
He sensed that he had a new person to tease in the future, making him feel quite funny. Her reaction also told him that she had truly conquered her Heart Demon. If her mind was still cloudy, then he wouldn't have allowed her to stay with Evelynn.

As long as she was going to stay with Evelynn, she needed to be vetted by him.
Davis turned to look at Evelynn, "Wisteria, come out."

Wisteria instantly came out from Evelynn's soul sea, standing obediently by the side.
She had her head lowered, looking quite shy instead of her usual unamused look.
Davis walked towards her and patted her head, "You did well, protecting Evelynn and making sure no enemy reached her. You have my praise, little spider spirit."
"Mhm…"
Wisteria nodded.
She glanced up and down at him while still having her head lowered. In her mind, the only one who could touch her without being afraid of decayed was probably him. She had a lot of problems in the beginning, unable to control her powers, but he helped her big time before they left for the clan.
She was also grateful that he supported her cultivation by giving a Time Law Treasure away. That was the reason she was immensely powerful.
More than anything, his gaze never wavered when looking at her. He wasn't afraid of her at all, while the others had imperceptible shivers as though they couldn't stand her existence. "No," Davis pursed his lips, "Eldia's been sleeping in my soul sea for a long time now. She hadn't woken up in three months."
"She's a lightning spirit and they sleep for a lot of time to cool off. It's common. Even a lot of darkness spirits show this trait." Myria commented.
"I know that, and I let her sleep, but her spirit body is constantly releasing different waves of aura as though she's unstable. It only occurs for a minute, and then her aura turns normal, but this is happening for a long time, making me worried."
Myria blinked, "Differing aura, you say? You would've considered that she's evolving or regressing, but if it's not that- is she connecting with a celestial body?"
Davis frowned, "You mean like how Xiesha connected with the Eternal Winter Star?"
"Yes…" Myria nodded, "Spirits have way more relatedness to celestial bodies in the vast universe. They can derive power from it, and it is generally called astral energy. It is different from the astral energy that is gained from the stars nearby since it is from an unknown distance away, not even physically reachable. Usually, only those who have karma with these stars are capable of obtaining this kind of karmic-astral energy."

Davis blinked.
If that was the case, what kind of celestial body was Eldia trying to connect with? Was it even a conscious decision? Or had she entered a trance and was slowly searching to connect with it?
He couldn't tell.
Hopefully, he wished it would be a boon rather than a bane.
"Don't worry. Nothing will happen to Eldia. What about Isabella and the others? Have they made it safely?" Evelynn couldn't help but ask, her expression full of worry.

"Stella got them inside safely." Davis chuckled, "The Eternal Twilight Realm Master didn't dare face her. He's smart."
"I see. That's good…" Evelynn's big bosoms heaved.
She smiled, hoping they were doing great in the secret realm.
"Shall we go back then?" Tia raised her brows, "Can't wait to play with Stella."
"Well, before we go back, we need to decide where to keep this treasure. Since there are many unknowns and we couldn't deny the chances of it going off, we'll keep it in-"
Davis suddenly went silent.
He abruptly remembered the old witch sealed in the Shadow Dimension, Lilliana Rayton, the Soul Devouring Demoness who terrorized the galaxy thirty billion years ago. Would the hell poison work against her?
Her soul was staying alive by leeching off of numerous other Exalts and Primarchs.
He was very interested in using the hell poison against her to see its true power.
