The moment the voice trailed off, a sudden beep rang before Jacob felt slight vibration beneath him.
Before he could figure out what was happening, the black cube trembled before a two-meter opening slide opened in front of Jacob like a door.

Jacob was only surprised for a moment seeing the door within the large cube before he moved forward and entered the passage.
