Zeras exited the place with his tail in between his legs as he wiped off his sweat.
“Tch, what a fiery girl…” He muttered beneath his breath when suddenly a notification rang out on his watch.

<So how did it go? I hoped not too many bones were broken. Just go to the infirmary and it’ll get fixed up, although you’ll lose some points. Don’t worry you’ll finally get her one day, bro. Don’t forget, the most patient dog gets the fattest bones>
“Tch, damn blindy…” Zeras snitched as he couldn’t believe Quinn underestimated his ability so much.
He immediately inputted back to him.
<Actually, I didn’t get any bones broken. Thanks for your worry though. And what type of damn patient dog, gets the fattest bone? That’s only possible because the early dogs already ate all the meat. And as for me, I might have just taken the biggest bit of all.>

Zeras switched off his watch as he dragged his air backward. Looking at the new quest given to him by the system.

“Ah, how do I even start this?” He muttered as his eyebrows furrowed together.
His only choice was to meet with Gaia and ask about more from what he saw in her dreams. But he couldn’t do that now, he wasn’t that close to her… But given the clue given to him by the system, he could try searching what a Celestial race means. But where would he get that from?
“But there’s no time limit anyway, I can take my time,” Zeras muttered to himself as he headed back to his room. There were still other students moving around the place in twos and threes as they moved around chatting and laughing making Zeras stand incredibly out from the crowd.
He got quite a few gazes from the students, who whispered about him due to being ranked first on the rankings.
“It seems I’m more popular than I thought?” Zeras said to himself as he unknowingly pocketed his hands and raised his chest even higher.
“Why are you acting so proud? You only ranked first because you were given a simple trial…” A masculine voice echoed loudly around the place as the whole area went silent from the pronunciation.
“Is…Is that Mumba Joker of the Joker race…” The voice of another cadet rang out as a murmur erupted around the place.
Judging from the murmur from the crowd, it seems the person was really popular among the New Cadets and Zeras tried racking his brain of where he had once heard that name from but couldn’t remember.
Zeras slowly stopped as he looked sideways only to find a young man who reclined on a wall with one of his legs placed on it while a card could be seen moving around his hands.
He seemed to radiate a spine-tingling and dangerous aura and Zeras couldn’t help but notice something strange about his shadow although he quickly took his eye away from it and didn’t focus much attention on that.
Zeras couldn’t see his face due to the round hat he was wearing that covered his face but he could still see strange-colored tattoos which extended into his uniform.
That was the sign of those from the Joker race and the only notable they have from the human race_their strange colored tattoos.
Apart from that, they seemed physiologically the same as humans.
“Oh, is that right?” Zeras replied as he kept moving forward with an unbothered expression.
” The New cadet’s rankings battle will be beginning soon, I look forward to you still keeping your ranking and your home once the battle begins…” Mumba said as he looked at the back of the young man who kept moving forward without a care in the world.
“I don’t look forward to it as I’m sure I can still use your body to clean the battle stage…” Zeras replied as he waved his hands upward at the crowd before leaving.
“How interesting…” Mumba muttered beneath his hat as his lips widened in a devilish smile that extended up to his ears.
The crowd of New Cadets slowly left the scenes as they knew there’d be something interesting in the New Cadets Rankings battle that’ll be coming soon.

Zeras arrived at his dorm room and he sat on the sofa before opening his system and moving to his Skills and Abilities tab.

His white hand suddenly began morphing and he watched as it slowly “melted” and took the shape of a long white-colored blade.
“What…what is this…” slowly stretched out his left hand as he felt the white blade his hand morphed into and he sat there shocked.
It was real and hard as metal, just like a true blade.
“Just how is this possible???”
