83 Second time using The Infinite Dark Mana Devourer Manual.
Zeras entered the Mana training room and looked at the pool in the middle of the room which gas once again been filled to the brim with blue coloured condensed Mana.
“It’s really good to rank first on the New Cadets rankings…” Zeras muttered happily. It was only due to the Mana Generator being extremely close to him, that was why there was so much abundance of mana in his Mana room, and that itself was due to ranking First. Had it been any other dorm room, then the recovery would have been much slower.
Looking at the blue-colored pool, he took off his clothes and slowly entered it. The Man was very cool to the skin as they slowly entered into his body through his pores but Zera’s heart began pounding fast as he was well aware of the inhumane pain he would be going through soon.
A pain even someone like him was afraid of. But even though he knew he would feel pain, he had no choice if he wanted to grow his strength, if he wanted to survive.
“Here goes nothing…” Zeras clicked on his watch as he read the Manual once more just to confirm things, before taking it away and focusing on his breathing.
The breathing was in a strange rhythm, sometimes just becoming fast while sometimes they were so slow they almost couldn’t be heard.
The Mana in the air started stirring once again as they became unstable and slowly coalesced together.
“BOOOOOM”
Zera’s body shook uncontrollably as the Man in the room suddenly flooded into his body causing him to feel horrifying pain in his body.
“ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH” Zeras clenched his teeth tightly as the Mana passed through every opening in his body drawing blood from them due to the pressure.
He was expecting the pain to be lesser, due to his former experience but he was very wrong as his body already adapted to the former pain and even had more space, causing even more Mana to flood into him than the last time with his limits also very far from before.
Zeras clenched his teeth tightly in pain as his fingers dug into the side of the pool while veins wriggled out of his body like a tumor he looked like some Veiny monster. Anyone who saw Zeras in this state would have been shocked senseless by what they were seeing as the technique wasn’t supposed to be taken this far and should be slowly cultivated throughout the years but Zeras was doing something meant to be done slowly for years into hours causing him to look like an abomination.
His increased strength helped him from bursting into pieces due to the amount of Mana he was absorbing causing him to withhold more Mana than he normally would.
Zeras collapsed in exhaustion as he finally reached his limits causing him to stop breathing according to the manual and back to his normal way of breathing. Most of his veins had been stretched to their absolute limit due to the amount of Mana they were storing in his body.
Not a semblance of the smallest Mana was present in the room as Zeras made sure to absorb every single ounce of it.
With that done, the next thing to do was direct all the Mana in his body into his core.
Zera’s consciousness dived into his dantian as he saw the ball which had half of it filled while the other half was empty depicting his status as a Middle Star rank stage cultivator.
“Let’s see, how far I can go with all this Mana…”Zeras muttered as he directed all the Mana in his body into his Mana core… 𝘳𝘦.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Zeras felt as if a mountain slammed on his head a pounding headache enough to turn his eye bloodshot entered his brain…
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM”
The Mana Core shook crazily as blue light flared powerfully from it due to the crazy amount of Mana that was flooding into it.
Zeras struggled to remain awake as he felt his consciousness rapidly turning black but he struggled as much as he could before eventually passing out.
But even though he had passed out, the Mana continually entered his body completely beyond his control as the Mana Core continued filling up…

8 hours later…
Zeras slowly opened his eyes as a terrible smell assaulted his nose causing him to jump out of the pool.
“AHHHH…” A shrill scream escaped Zera’s mouth as he felt his body hurt madly on jumping out of the pool.
Looking at the pool he was formerly lying on, it was now filled with black gooish impurities which was the number of impurities expelled by his body.
Zeras dived his consciousness into his body as he looked at his Mana core, a smile appearing on his face but also with a strange expression.
The Mana was now about 3.5/4 filled, just a little bit from filling, but his expression also changed as he saw the dark taint of the Mana mixed in with blue but it was so little he didn’t pay much attention to it.
Zeras removed his consciousness from his dantian as he saw the notification panel appear before him…

The system notification rang out causing a satisfied smile to appear on Zera’s face. Now he had caught up with the majority of the New cadets in cultivation.
Looking at his Attributes.

[Intelligence: 16]
[Charm: null]
All his attributes were increased by 7 points except for his intelligence. Zeras couldn’t help but notice formerly when he got to the middle star rank stage, all his attributes increased by 2 but now they’ve all increased by 7. That was probably why a Late Star rank stage would be more powerful than a Middle Star rank stage.
It was due to their increased stats… .
Zeras ignored all that as he struggled to get up from the ground, but he was surprised when he stood up and took a step forward
