76 Engaged In A Brawl
The two groups tried climbing as fast as they could, with the other team at the front. While it would have been a possible solution for the other group to simply cut the rope, easily eliminating Zera’s group which was below.
It was impossible, due to the materials the ropes were made it and their raw thickness.
It would take them about half an hour to even cut off one of the ropes and by that time, Zera’s group would have already got hold of them.
“Move faster…” Draggy urged as he rapidly pulled himself up, the remaining group quickly following behind his figure.
Although it pained Draggy when he saw Zeras get eliminated, he knew this wasn’t the time to get angry. The mission was still the main focus.
Laser finally arrived at the top of the tower as he dragged all his remaining teammates upwards and they all finally finished climbing the tower.
Right in front of their eyes, 20 meters away, was the object they’d been pursuing since.
The Purple Void Stone.
Laser slowly moved towards the purple stone but once he arrived at about five meters, he suddenly felt himself slamming on a barrier as his motion came to a stop. 𝑖𝘳.𝒸ℴ𝑚
Right in front of Laser and something not previously seen by the group, a purple dome of energy could be seen surrounding the Void Stone area acting like some protective shield.
Laser hands touched the barrier as he clenched his hands into a fist and threw out a punch infused with all his strength.
BOOOOOM.
The sound of collision rang out powerfully, but the barrier only shook a little before coming to a stop once again.
But although it appeared to have next to no damage, the group noticed the purple light of the barrier dimming a little.
“Together, let’s deliver our powerful strikes…” Laser urged the group as they all released their strongest attacks.
Laser moved backward as he slowly closed his eyes, opening them a powerful laser beam shot out of them extremely glaring as they slammed into the barrier with about twice the force of his full-powered punch.
BOOOOOOM
The girl in the group named Speedy, moved backward as her figure blitzed around the place with speed gathering momentum before she suddenly ran towards the barrier and delivered a powerful punch.
BOOOOOM.
Destroi got into a battle stance as he clenched his right fist which soon flared with a purple energy. Throwing out a single punch, the air exploded with a bang as a purple energy beam emanated from his hands and slammed on the barrier.
BOOOOOM
Telekin who got Zeras eliminated also slapped forward in front of him but by some mysterious force, the sound of collision rang out as if an invisible object slammed on the purple barrier.
BOOOOOM
With the four releasing the full power of their attack, the barrier rippled crazily as the light on it slowly dimmed.
“Two more attacks and we’ll rip it apart…” Laser urged as the group once again released one more powerful attack.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
The barrier flickered crazily this time as its purple color changed to a white glass as if its energy had been drained completely.
But even more so, the group knew it needed one more final attack to finally completely shatter the barrier.
“One more last time…” Laser urged as he got ready to fire his strongest laser from his eyes when suddenly
“Not so fast…”
A claw slammed on Laser’s head and his body was immediately knocked flying, bouncing continuously on the ground before skidding to a stop and slamming into the barrier.
Laser felt his head go a little dizzy due to the attack but he quickly got over it as he stood up and observed the situation.
Right in front of their group of 4 was another group of 4 with an especially eye-catching figure who had exceptions dark and scally claws and stood in front of the group.
Laser’s eyes narrowed as he felt a dangerous aura emanating from some of the group members causing him to quickly give out orders.
“Speedy, you take care of the crimson red hair and eyes guys. Just slow him down for as much as you can…” Laser urged as he looked at the female figure with exceptionally long legs in the groups.
“Hey, Destroi, take care of the glass guy and that lanky one. I believe you can do it…” Laser said as he looked at the boy who could fire out a destructive beam of purple energy from his hands.
Even though he was assigned to fight two individuals at once, Destroi didn’t seem to be a bit worried at all as an uncaring face could be seen on him which lined into a disdainful smirk…
“Tch, fighting with a bunch of monkeys…”
“I’ll hold down that large claw guy. As for you Telekin. Focus on completely breaking through that barrier and take the Void Stone once you do that, got it?” Laser asked as he stared at Telekin who gave a nod as he looked away from the group and threw a punch at the barrier.
It was like the shooting gun required for the game to begin.
Draggy moved forward as he slashed his claws at Laser’s eyes, but the boy didn’t move a single inch as a red destructive beam of laser slammed on those claws, they both got into a heated battle of claws and beams.
Elastic moved forward, followed by Heavy as they got close to the barrier but were suddenly stopped by Destroi who slowly stretched his bone, his bones crackling with the sound of foreboding thunder…
“Let’s get this over with, monkeys…” A mocking smirk appeared on Destroi’s face as he slammed his two legs on the ground before pressing off with speed.
BOOOOOM
BAAAAAAAAANG
Every punch of Destroi seemed to be able to blast a rock into pebbles as Elastic and Heavy struggled to get past but was held down by him.
Every punch of his reverberated deep in their bones as Elastic was able to dodge his attacks due to his elastic body while Heavy tried to slow him down, from time to time, preventing Elastic from easily getting overwhelmed.
Now left was Quinn and the girl called Speedy…
Quinn sized up Speedy from head to toe before ignoring her and looking at Telekin who already managed to create a crack on the barrier, no doubt soon shattering into pieces. .
His figure suddenly disappeared as he materialized behind Telekin and slowly stretched out his palms wanting to get hold of his head but a strange expression appeared on his face as a hand suddenly wrapped onto his stopping his motion at the last minute.
“I’m called Speedy for a reason…” A smile appeared on Speedy’s face as she engaged in battle with Quinn, one teleporting and another running.
Even though she would have normally been defeated by Quinn if it was a true fight. Speedy was able to keep up with him as she avoided confrontation and focused on just preventing Quinn from getting any nearer.
Now left was Telekin who continuously chipped away at the barrier uninhibited by the group fight…
CRAAAAACK…. CRAAAAACK…
