Zeras entered the gigantic structure and found himself in a hall filled with books that were floating in the air when suddenly his watch beeped.
At the end of the hall, another door could be seen with something written on at its top.
“Archive 2.”
“A first-year student named Zeras Celestria has been identified.
Welcome to the First Archive Mana manual halls. Every book around you is a cultivation manual for newbies with level 1 authority. You can only see the title of the technique and read the description. If it fits with you, you can choose them by holding on to them for more than 5 seconds.” an AI voice echoed out in the hall.
“Interesting…” Zeras muttered it seemed there were levels to the cultivation manual halls. Besides, different levels of authority were also required to access the archives. He was only at the first level of authority due to him just being newly admitted.
Zeras marveled at the floating books in front of him, wondering what level of technology was installed in the hall to make the book float in the air.
“You only have 30 minutes to choose your cultivation Manual.” The AI voice as Zeras immediately moved towards the closest book to him, taking it in his hands he looked at the title before moving on to the description:

“You have 5 minutes left…” The AI voice echoed as Zeras slowly came to a stop with disappointment on his face.
The majority of the techniques here were at the common level.
He only found one which was at the pseudo-rare level and it didn’t even fit him as it requires a place with a volcano to increase its effects.
The manual here was for complete newbies just starting on their Cultivation journey and the highest price here was 100 points.
Although there were pretty good techniques, he wasn’t satisfied with it.
Zeras was about to resort to fate and chose one of the pseudo-rare level techniques when suddenly his eyes narrowed as he looked at the door in the distance.
He moved towards the door with curiosity as the AI voice also rang out:

Zeras ignored that as he looked at the door which had the picture of a gigantic humanoid creature with different spikes emerging from its back while a dark gas oozed out of its eyes.
Zera’s eyes narrowed as he felt an unbelievable connection to the creature as if they were related in some way he couldn’t understand.
His eyes stared into the creature’s dark eyes, not moving away when suddenly a beam of light shot off its eyes as it shone on the golden badge on his chest.
“Scanning cadet’s badges…”
“Badges scanned…”
“First on New cadets rankings discovered…”
“Your Authority has been increased to level 2 for ranking first on the New Cadets rankings.” 𝑖.𝑐ℴ𝑚
“You can now access the second level of the Archive and other perks that come with having your authority increased to level 2.”
Zeras stood there numbed as he slowly pressed his hands on the door and with a rumbling sound. The door slowly opened.
In front of him was a gigantic white hall with thousands of books floating around him in the air.
“First-year cadet, Zeras Celestria has been identified.”
“Welcome to the Second level of the Archive Mana manual hall.”
“You have 30 minutes to choose a Mana manual hall.
Zeras couldn’t believe it as he unknowingly gained access to the Second Archive level.
A wild grin couldn’t help but sneak its way towards his face as he moved towards the closest book to him. An unbelievable expression appeared on his face as he stared at the description.
