Commands swiftly issued from her lips.
A main-force warship, three auxiliary warships, and a supply ship that made up her fleet immediately carried out Verna’s orders.

None of the five warship commanders and the Tower Spirit opposed or corrected Verna’s command.

Compared to the Flame and Metal Trading Company’s formation where the main battleship led the pack, the auxiliary warships tagged behind, and the supply ship stayed out of the fray – Scholar Silvano played it safe.
Two auxiliary warships moved ahead, flanking on either side, the main battleship fell back by one ship’s position, while the last auxiliary warship and supply ship tailed the main battleship closely.
This formation was rather peculiar, neither offensive nor defensive. It was unclear what Scholar Silvano was pondering.
Neither Sandra nor Verna paid it any mind.
Link, once he noticed, felt quite uncomfortable.
This modified line formation effectively avoided the trouble of being attacked from the flank and rear.
The two auxiliary warships heading in front on either side could readily back up the left and right rear sides at any time.
“Such sharp instincts?”
Link muttered, then adjusted his target of attack, focusing on the fleet of the Flame and Metal Trading Company.
However, Link didn’t act rashly.
They were not the frontline attackers, but the surprise elements, so naturally they couldn’t come into play straight away.
The medium-caliber muzzle of the “Cloud Rainbow” warship suddenly flashed, taking the initiative and launching an attack.
Two half-powered beams of the Light of Annihilation were shot towards the two enemy fleets, a greeting and a probe of their defenses.
The two prepared fleets, while initiating their counter-attack, made evasive and defensive maneuvers.
The first round of attack, which started suddenly, quickly fizzled out.
One beam of the Light of Annihilation from the “Cloud Rainbow” was taken head-on by the main battleship of the Flame and Metal Trading Company’s fleet, while the other beam missed most of the White Tower Alliance fleet, just grazing the supply ship’s edge, causing it to sway slightly.
The recoiling probes from both fleets, led by large-caliber star-annihilating cannons, were mostly evaded by the “Cloud Rainbow”, which took a few hits.
With the probing concluded, the battle escalated rapidly.
For a moment, the Light of Annihilation, star-annihilating cannons, Dissociation Cannons, Antimatter Cannons, and the space type shock cannons, crisscrossed across the sector.
The eleven engaged warships escaped unscathed.
But the surrounding minor celestial bodies had taken a hailstrom of damage.
The “Cloud Rainbow” held its ground against both opposing fleets, not showing any sign of falling behind.
“Damn it!”
Watching the “Cloud Rainbow” remain solid as a rock in the shower of firepower, Verna couldn’t help but curse, “That’s a real display of extravagance. A custom-made flagship, it must have cost a ton of magic stones!”
Among the direct descendants of each Wizard Organisation, the treatment was noticeably different.
Sandra was the only girl among the fourth generation of the Diomand family, having been pampered as the favorite from her infancy, it’s all due to her wealth in magic stones.

Link took a look and noticed that near the engine at the aft of the Flame and Metal Trading Company’s main battleship, the intensity of the defense shield was evidently weaker than other parts.
This must have been the result of a beam of full-powered Light of Annihilation from the “Cloud Rainbow” catching the battleship off-position not long ago.
The attack had been blocked and hadn’t inflicted any damage on the ship’s frame, but it disrupted the flow of the battleship’s shielding.
The Flame and Metal Trading Company’s fleet haven’t had the chance to repair it properly.
An opportunity missed is an opportunity lost.
Link decided to strike alone, poking at the ship’s rear, while keeping the Waterdrop Warship hidden as a reserve and ace up his sleeve.
