These tools were for dealing with Squid Man, and also his frequently used Gel Bombs from his time in Gotham.
This was a liquid composed of multiple chemical substances, quite stable normally, but once exposed to air, it would quickly solidify and become explosive.
Making Gel Bombs was not difficult; the only challenge was the formula's composition, but for Batman, this was not an issue.
Paired with the Gel Bombs was an detonation system consisting of five or six miniature signal receivers and igniters.

Then, the igniter would generate a tiny electric current, thoroughly detonating the Gel Bomb.
Due to Batman's extensive experience in Gotham, he made the Gel Bombs in one go, without encountering any difficulties.
Sizzle... Batman attached the detonation system, composed of a signal receiver and igniter, to a steel beam, then sprayed Gel Bombs onto it.
The remote detonation device was modified from a car key. Batman retreated more than twenty meters, hiding in a safe spot before pressing the button.

Without further delay, Batman then entered the Sewer, still setting up Gel Bombs and spider silk traps.
The Sewer system was vast and complex. Batman only set traps at the intersections of the Sewer within a hundred-meter radius of the Abandoned Shipyard.
After everything was complete, Batman stood at the highest point of the Shipyard—a suspended ship's keel, pointing high into the air.
From now on, he would wait patiently.
Time passed minute by minute. Since the area outside the Abandoned Shipyard was not a commercial street, there was no other light source except for dim streetlights.
The Shipyard had long since plunged into complete darkness. The shadows of ships and industrial equipment in the night resembled ferocious beasts, ready to devour all the guilty at any moment.
A gentle breeze blew, bringing with it a faint, lingering stench.
Batman remained motionless. He knew Squid Man had arrived, and his target was the Abandoned Shipyard.
At this moment, the tactical suit, Batarang, and Gel Bombs were all worn by Batman, and the electrocution device was placed in a corner of the Shipyard.
He had prepared for this and fixed his gaze on the sewage pipe that Squid Man had broken yesterday.
Silently, a greenish-blue tentacle with suckers quietly emerged from the pipe's rupture.
Then came the second, the third... the eighth.
Unlike the humanoid Squid he had seen yesterday, today's Squid Man appeared in the form of a complete Squid, something that was not recorded in the CIA's intelligence.
"But I had anticipated this," Batman thought to himself.
As Squid Man stealthily crawled out of the sewage pipe, cautiously probing in one direction, Batman pressed the remote control button for the Gel Bombs in his hand.
The remote control he designed could precisely detonate Gel Bombs at different locations, preventing a situation where pressing a button would cause the entire Abandoned Shipyard to explode.
The explosion at this moment was in the opposite direction of the sewage pipe from which Squid Man had emerged.
With a rumble, the instant the Gel Bomb exploded, Squid Man reflexively sprinted forward, successfully entering the path Batman had planned for him—a decaying fishing boat.
Five meters, ten meters... Squid Man's speed was extremely fast, which also meant he fell into the trap quickly.
By the time he reacted and sensed something was wrong, his body was already tightly entangled in black spider silk.
Squid Man panicked immediately. He subconsciously tried to break free from the spider silk on his body. His slippery body allowed him to succeed in this; a tentacle, aided by mucus, extended out, pulling Squid Man's body towards the decaying hull of the boat ahead.

The trap wouldn't hold Squid Man. Given enough time, he would eventually be able to break free with his slippery body.
"If only there was something sharp I could use to cut the spider silk..." Squid Man's eyes darted around, and he spotted a metal frame that had originally been installed within the boat's hull.
If he could tear it off, the sharp metal edges would allow Squid Man to get rid of the spider silk on his body faster.
But this was also Batman's trap. The moment Squid Man's tentacle wrapped around the metal frame, a powerful electric current instantly surged into his body. He was immediately electrocuted, his eight limbs convulsing, unable to move.
